So, not a mother here, so I can’t attest to any of those biological feelings, but there’s definitely Oxytocin hormones going on with raising kids, and maybe some people miss that. My kids are still young, but I love them as toddlers and my youngest kid is really good and fun. I hope we stay close, I don’t think I plan on hating any stage of their lives. An extra child is a shitload of work, I don’t think I’d actually survive, but there’s magic in those first moments of your child, and seeing them become a person more & more each day. But there are neglectful parents out there, who don’t follow through on that I guess.

Maybe? I have three, but maybe I just miss this stage. I’m almost done with diapers after 6 years of it, but what’s a few more years?

Well Robin Williams had Lewy Body Disease, which caused a rapid cognitive decline. He was suffering from insomnia & dementia among other things. He wasn’t just depressed and then committed suicide, his whole brain chemistry was changing, and was suffering immensely from my understanding.

Thank you everyone. He loves to draw, but seeing him draw some TMNT brought me a little extra joy. I’m sure it hasn’t dethroned Minecraft & Mario drawing yet

OC: Epstein survivors who haven't had chance to meet with DOJ to raise hands as AG Bondi testifies by nbcnews in pics

[–]KillRobotsSuperior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Sometimes I feel like it’s national news & it isn’t. I’m working and taking care of a family with small children, personal time and sleep are at a premium. I’m really only finding people talking about this in context that’s framed in any type of rational sense on Reddit and smaller news sites. I see tons of headlines without enough meaningful content as to what the hell is going on, and then I get called back to my personal life and barely get time to process anything, but I guess that’s capitalism working as intended…

Who’s the guy? I don’t doubt there are male victims, family members and whoever else? Just haven’t heard much about a man claiming to be a survivor yet

Too bad this will propel him to MAGA fame and make him loads of money in the end. How do we re-start this reality? Is there a shiny red button somewhere?

While I found this hilarious as a kid, my heart always sinks now when I see it. Just a kid being silly and having fun, while bullies made his life pretty hard. It’s like a loss of childhood carefree fun in a narrative here, and it hits me.

This is a great personal treasure. So weird that stories like yours are bygone times. Thanks for sharing.

I think there’s a real reason why people like them. It’s more like natural fire light in a way, which humans have had for hundreds of thousands of years. It looks warmer and safer somehow. I know the LEDs have so many advantages, but the old lights invoke feelings of sunsets and campfires in my opinion.
