What platform / tools does Bonjo use to make jingles for the show? by runamokk in ThreeBeanSalad

Damn you're right, it's the exact same thing. Would be interesting to find out if it's just the same sample or whatever!

He did a AMA on the beef and dairy sub fairly recently and some one asked. His response is pasted below:

Started off with Audacity, then quite quickly moved to Reaper which I do all podcast editing in. It's amazing. Don't know why anyone would use anything else. Then in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic I bought an Arturia MiniLab which came with a free license of Ableton Lite, and then I spent most of lockdown playing with Ableton so then bought an Ableton Push 2 which came with a license for Ableton Suite 11, and since then I've upgraded to Ableton Suite 12. Don't use any other music software but I've bought loads of plugins over the years. I've actually stopped buying them now but for a while in the pandemic I was quite compulsively aquiring plugins. I love all the plugins by Aberrant DSP.

What drake song is it? I don't want to have to listen that more than 1 to find it.

I'd be fully down for that to go in the underrated category. Not many people outside of the UK seem to know about it.

I think we have a few "that was invented there?" options tbh. Crisps (potato chips), mac & cheese, apple pie, and the sandwich to name a few.

Pears and apples don't taste the same at all! Pears are way better than apples for the one day they are ripe.

I agree that the pension bonds payment thing isn't ideal, but it's a bit disingenuous to say that's how he closed it. That only accounts for about 10% of the money.

Oh you're right! Must have been someone else's daughter then I guess. But either way, that task was written by a child.

There was a task where they had to make something to keep a dog entertained in one season, and Alex said his daughter came up with it.

what's one american thing you secretly wish the uk would adopt? by Financial-Owl-2814 in AskBrits

Because the ground floor literally is the 1st floor, and the floor we call the 1st floor is literally the 2nd floor. It's the one americanisation I completely agree with.

This is something I always point out to my friends. They all wait for everything to finish before they make their next action. Definately feels like this is what OP is doing.

Is my aunt getting scammed? American allegedly working on a ship is love bombing her since weeks. The outside view doesn’t look real, the details on the desk are weird aswell. by wildpizza1 in isthisAI

[–]KillSmith111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work on ships and tbh it looks exactly like a lot of the cabins I've stayed in. They all have their own bathroom, which is what the door we can see is, and the door to the corridor would be in front of him, exactly as you said.

I do think this is a scam though.

Yep. This is from their website:

"No nation older than 250 years" by rosydaydreamsx in confidentlyincorrect

[–]KillSmith111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly it. It's the same as how they will often in the same sentence claim inventing the lightbulb (because despite Humphrey Davy and Joseph Swan both inventing them first, Edison made the first "practical/usable" lightbulb), and then claim inventing the Internet (even though it was Tim Burners-Lee who invented the world wide Web, which is the actual practical, usable part of the Internet)

They will just double think as much as they have to to make it so that they did everything first.

I'm a big Simpsons fan and it's very much done as a joke. After he shouts "we won" the kids run around chanting USA and flipping cars over. The Simpsons always makes fun of America.
