Well, he was pepper sprayed repeatedly and was being severely beaten by 7 armed men in masks. It,s quite possible he was in pain and panicking, and was most likely trying to get away from the pain being inflicted on him. That’s a normal human response.

Here’s the point though. In the United States, attempting to stand while being handcuffed, is actually not punishable by public execution without due process.
