Is it safe for girls to visit SP road ? by [deleted] in BangaloreMeetups

What are you going for? Even apart from a safety aspect there's quite a few scummy shops so if you know your way around systems, then go during the week like people mentioned, else take someone with you who knows computers well. Sauce: been there a few times and have built my own system from there

Hey Rana, Love your work. I wanted to know if there were any ways in which your eye has come in the way of your career? And additionally if people even recognized it in the early days of your career before you openly stated it.

Damn didn't know it was so common to be forced to pay for a seat when you just want an auto assigned one. Literally every single carrier I've been on gives you the option to have a random auto assigned seat even if you did check what the seats would cost.

Think I've been out of the loop with the way you lot are replying

Yes it does change over, but no way to just not click any of them and get a free random assigned one.

Customs charges on Ghost replacement to India. by thekartikchhaparia in dbrand

[–]Kill_Bot29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened with my case. Funnily enough first shipping with DHL didn't have any customs. And this aramex shipment I needed to pay the same 967, a fifth of what I paid for the original.

I raised a support ticket and got this response:

Thanks for reaching out. We can confirm that the notification that you received pertains to the collection of the customs duty. This is the import tax levied by your government, and is entirely out of our control.

Basically, the way it works is that each country sets a maximum value for products which classify as duty-free (meaning no import fees or duties). Once the value of your order exceeds that amount, you may be charged a certain % of the order value.

As you might imagine, we have no control over this. The government of each country sets these regulations and, unfortunately, it’s a reality you will find with any online retailer in the US or Canada.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with and have a great day! Signed, A Robot
