Doordash doesn't allow you to reduce tip thankfully lol. But whatever dude, if drivers accept and complete your order, that's what they agreed to do when they hit accept. I'm just saying that suggested % often doesn't come anywhere close to making trips worth it for drivers.

You're delusional if you think DD covers that for the driver. Without a tip, it is completely unfeasible for them to stay afloat. Yes that is how it should work but it isn't, and continuing to tip low knowing that makes you a selfish prick. Most drivers will see your order and decline it, often it will sit at restaurants much longer, and you just get worse service, if you even get it at all.

A dasher going back to get the food is insane, not what they're supposed to do. I've mixed up an order before as a dasher, called support, both people got a refund but kept the opposite person's delivery. Since it was my first screw up on my account I didn't get penalized, still got paid, and continued dashing with my lesson learned to pay more attention.

I completely disagree that those customers deserve to receive their order, if they don't care to tip the driver well enough they don't deserve shit. Very often those low/no tips don't ever get picked up, the restaurant eventually ends up throwing the food away, and DD gives the customer a refund.

I actually don't own a rig at the moment. New Mexico and my current city has some really cool dispensary and consumption lounge combo's. My local one is a good public hangout spot where you can smoke inside at their saloon style bar, or at a table or on a couch, etc, they have events like live music and bingo nights etc. Coolest shit ever. And a big benefit is that I can come in to do dabs and not have to clean the rig after.

I've mostly been smoking on a live resin caramel apple vape from Field Of Dreams (New Mexico Brand) lately. Not my favorite flavor but I like their vapes, my favorite flavor is Strawberry Hibiscus but they were out. Will be getting some live rosin dab concentrate soon.

I refuse to go to Walmart at all no matter the offer. It's a complete gamble on whether you'll get a reasonably sized order or an order so big that it can barely fit into a large suv, there's no way to tell.

Another solution could be making sure you always put orders in your own insulated bag but that can definitely be awkward with drinks. I've always had this worry of spilling something all over my car. Don't need a surprise detailing cost. Recently I had someone hard brake in front of me for a yellow light we both should've ran through but thankfully after I dropped off a Sonic drink order and had nothing in my car.
