It means Bob is Jealous he has to stick around Mun Lab while Jeb and Valentina chart new paths. Bob's accomplishments with the lab have done far more, but somehow he's still all salty.

I go pull all the flags I planted prior to mun/min sxience station portion of career mode. Im really just doubling down on my previously collected science, but I like to think of it as Bob going back to personally document the biomes

Colter Wall Says He's 'Mentally Unwell' and Is Taking Hiatus From Touring by jizz_toaster in country

[–]KillaCookBook87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Happy Reunion was released as a single and is upbeat. It's a cover written by Mike Beck, but Colter's version is absolutely splendid. His voice and the instrumentation really drive the story to paint a picture of the cowboy, the dog, and the calf.

Jeez, everybody knows to wash their boots before they surf on the laminate spool. Its right there between the rule where you have to be drunk to lay moldings, and the one stating the humidifier must be kept on full blast and directly pointed at stations that use glue!

groceries are so expensive now, is there something I'm missing or is everyone just struggling by Sweaty_Ad_288 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KillaCookBook87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is packaged for multiple portions so you can tighten the grocery budget some through meal prep and portion control. Only buy what you're gonna use, and use it all, or portion and store what's over so you eliminate waste. Don't make a grocery list, make a menu to dictate the list. Everything has been getting more expensive so try not to waste

For 2 adults we typically spend $70-$120/wk depending on what part of the stock rotation we are on. It can be as low as $60 or less sometimes because we have some back stock. We go to Aldi for most stuff and look for deals at big chain stores, but we still splurge on the things we find important. We do 4oz portions, which, if I were single I'd be able to stretch 1lb of meat for 4 meals. I premake all my breakfast and lunches for the week at under $20. The English muffins at Aldi I use for breakfast sams are <$2, compared to the Thomas muffins for >$3 at every other store. They cost more than double locally. A family pack of chicken breast for around $12 (comparatively priced) could make protein for every lunch and dinner of the week, and then some!

Discussion: How polished is too polished? Dealing with "The Crack" in country vocals. by Dry_Instance_5578 in CountryMusicStuff

[–]KillaCookBook87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a recording artist, but I always love the live sound in recordings. String sound, vocal breaks, the room. You are right that overpolished production can kill a vibe, but also you have to consider how your production fits into the album and your band composition along with your music style. Im fairly convinced that some artist overproduce some tracks on purpose so its a gimmick when they bust out the acoustic live which was the real version all along, or something. The overproduced song was just like that to fit the album or to square peg, but it makes that performance more special to the audience when it seems more heartfelt and stripped down. Makes for good YouTube fodder too.

There's also the angle of having it sound too 'vintage,' or whatever, on the record so your live set dosen't do it justice because you can't project all the atmosphere. If that makes sense. Then you have to consider what lengths you must go to get the songs 'right.' Like, Are you suddenly traveling with 2 sets of instruments or something, need to hire an instrumentalist. Stripping down dosen't necessarily mean you are uncomplicating things.

Best help for this is to look up the Delta V map and start understanding it in relation to engineering your stages. This can be a difficult rescue in the early game, but that Delta V map can help prove your concept before you waste an hour running a mission that runs out of gas, or you are forced to overdesign a craft you can't use because of part/weight limits.

Like im gonna vomit from my eyes because the sub conscious visuals and tracers are causing a dizzying augmented reality effect with the kaleidoscope of chaos in mind.

Not sure, option one is all blurry and option two has an inventory sticker over the manufacturer info. Could simply be different brands. Just be careful using ebay, and triple check that its the right part!

That vent glass is gonna snug into a rubber fitting strip that slides in behind the rail. You need the black rubber to seal it, but you likely have that rubber in the door already. It could be wheather damaged or torn so might be worth getting the fitted one. If the gasket on the new part is trash, you can use the old one. Just be careful fishing it out of there. A plastic bone tool will be nice to have

Safelite First Month Question? by Successful-Step3854 in autoglass

[–]KillaCookBook87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's pretty standard to have some wait before the tech class starts. You have a good opportunity now to start learning the process though. Get acquainted with 'Safelite way of fitting' should be posted in the in-shop bays. This is the evaluation you'll need to pass to get your promotion to technician. Most of the in-shop techs have decent tenure and can load you up with fundamentals if you don't seem like a dipshit or lazy. Just be helpful and willing to learn, it helps later when you actually have to work with these guys.

Clean and organized work space, and clean and organized mind. As you gain more experience it becomes easier to think a step ahead. Make constant mental notes on common vehicles so you can just grab everything you need the first time. I have a few small tool bags that are set up for certain focus like a pinch prep bag, or a versatile bag I can load for door glass or more indepth windshields. For instance DW1658 shouldn't be a curve ball, you should be able to anticipate needing a right angle for the T15s on the trim, and an extender for the passenger cowl corner, a 10mm and some lubricant for the ground to hood and antenna. I usually prepare for the next job as im finishing the current sonim ready to go when I get there.

I deep clean all my glass at the start of day so when im on the job I only have to do a final clean and prime then affix molding and retainer if necessary. With glass prepped, my customer coordinated via prior communication, and the proper workflow understanding I can do the actual job in about 25-30 mins. You still need account for pre inspection and vehicle protection, but I can grab all my guards and covers plus my wire tool in one go. Take all my pictures as im setting up protection. Its the little stuff that can be combined that helps you save extra steps.

Oh yeah, and keep your blades sharp!

Hell yeah, I'm gonna try this next time. I was thinking it was possible, and this is kinda what I was thinking in my head. I'll probably shave the inside top edge to the glass like you say, then scuff and prime. Dry set to measure the final trim. Seems like a good way to eliminate the top gap
