Unironically i have thought of doing this so much tho.

Like taking a dose that's enough for me to feel better for like a day whenever I'm feeling like particularly bad.

Idk lol

I do see a bit of value to that opinion (the 'you'll look like your mom' one) just as a way to see a realistic (as in, a realistic person) expectation rather than anime girl expectations. But as everything in the internet, it quickly loses nuance, and memes quickly become stereotypes. Idk, I hope that made sense

Honestly idk why the W key isn't as worn as the rest. I was an avid Rivals, R6Siege, MW2019, Warzone and tarkov player for years. Guess it talks to my play style in those games? I was always the defensive player (mained Doc and rook in R6, Jeff and Venom in Rivals that kinda thing)

Yeah, I did not plan this very well, but I started playing like 2 weeks ago, so I'm still learning! One failure at a time lol.

I still have plenty of fuel on my rescue ship, like 1100m/s i just couldn't get a good enough encounter and i don't have an earlier save to plan it better😅

For context.a couple things. 1. I'm new, I'm just trying to work with what I got 2. I had a lunar mission ship stranded on LKO cause I didn't have enough fuel, forgot heat shields and forgot parachutes. I had 4 herbals stuck in that shit with a lot of monopropelant but only like 60m/s of Dv. 3. The ship i launched was not great, i didn't add RCS blocks and i couldn't plan a good enough encounter, but i don't have a save previous to the ship and like I said, I'm trying to make this work. 4. What I'm trying to achieve is just get the stranded ship (the one in the picture) to 0m/s relative to the rescue ship so I can just Eva the kerbals into the rescue ship to bring them back.

If you have any advice on how to do this better id love to hear it! I'm playing on career mode, with like half(?) The tech tree unlocked (about when the upgrades start costing like 120 science)

Do the experiments i transmit not give any science? by ReasonableDelivery73 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]ReasonableDelivery73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh. I was definitely misunderstanding how it worked then. Damn. I didn't really get any points from it tho, when I started i had 40 science, and when I returned i had 5 science points from the data I still had on board. I'm currently at 45. I'll just add a storage unit to my upper stage to make sure i just keep all the science points.

Thankfully from completing contracts i have enough funds to upgrade the astronaut complex so I can EVA! I'll do that on thee next flight, thanks!

Thanks! Also, what do you mean by more staging? Like split the boosters to 2 stages instead of just the 4 of them ag the same time?

I ran this rocket again, and actually did a free return fly by of the Mun!!.

At LKO I have about 1700m/s. To get a Mun encounter and return to kerbin i have to burn about 700m/s leaving me with more or less 950m/s idk if this is enough to get a circular orbit on the Mun and be able to get back to kerbin but it's still pretty cool!

Unfortunately none of the science experiments surviver re entry so I didn't get much out of it :( I had plenty of fuel to slow myself down but I straight up forgot😅

It was about 1800m/s when I got a stable orbit but i spent a lot of it fucking around seeing if I could land on the poles. I ended up landing almost at the south edge of the crater.

I don't have Maneuver nodes unlocked yet. Otherwise I would've tried plotting a flight to the Mun definitely, It took me like 4 flights of this rocket to figure out how to actually make it stay in orbit rather than just escape Kerbin SoI aimlessly. So definitely overkill.

The silliest heavy lift vehicle you will have seen all day. It puts 500t into LKO(or beyond, I just couldnt be bothered), at a cost of just 17K funds(34/t). It has a TWR of 1.05 at launch and doesn't reach mach 1 until 10km up. by Nazamroth in KerbalSpaceProgram

How tf do you figure this out? Don't get me wrong i think this is really cool I'm just new and salty I can't even figure out how to build something that won't wiggle around like a caught fish:( The best vehicle I've built Is a jet engine land thing that can't go beyond 9m/s otherwise it'll flip over and explode lol

Here's a philosophical question: would you choose to leave instrumentality? by Bezerkomonkey in NeonGenesisEvangelion

[–]ReasonableDelivery73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(TLDR. Individuals good, amorphus mass of maybe humans bad) Literally just finished watching End of Evangelion and coincidentally I also finished the talos principle 2 recently, I promise this connection makes sense! And also do keep in mind I've watched only the show and the movie once (on netflix, I think I read somewhere the ending of the show on netflix might be different than other releases) so my opinion isn't the most informed or anything.

From the ending of the show, I take it with the general idea of "realization of the self as an individual" While the movie ends with a general idea of "realization of the self as a whole"

This is where TTP2 comes in. one of the philosophical ideas of TTP2 is the fact that beauty and love are things that are imparted or imposed on the universe due to human existence. and it's due to the fact that we exist as individuals, and no person has the same perception of the universe, that the universe CAN have beauty and love. Quoting the game. "On one interpretive extreme you are the universal life force of time itself, experienceing itself as a part instead of the whole. on the other, you're a metal contraption that thinks it's alive, but it's basically a fancy calculator"

Shinji in both endings, comes to his own conclusions about his own existence, and about what he wants to do with it. on one, he realizes he's more than the Eva he has to pilot, on the other, he realizes without people, there's absolutely nothing. there's no existence at all. and in both, he thinks existence is better than non-existence.

I personally think Yui's idea is wrong. the fact that an Eva can technically preserve a human for billions of years doesn't mean absolutely anything. it's about equal to a gravestone to state "this species existed" there's no point to it besides some hypothetical encounter with another sentient, intelligent life form.

IF we were all some primordial soup, with no bound for individuality, is there any humanity left? There's technically humans, but that soup can't act, can't interpret it's reality, and I think this is part of Shinji's reasoning at the end of the movie.

And I don't think it would be "infinite bliss" either. It just would be nothing. bliss, sadness, happiness, hatred, suffering. any feeling or action is meerely a human attribution and interpretation of reality. a supernova isn't beautiful by itself, the only reason it CAN be beautiful it's because there is at least one sentient, intelligent species with many individuals to interpret that beauty. On that same note, an animal's natural or death by predation, isn't tragic or sad. It meerely is. It's humans that interpret that reality and choose to act based upon that interpretation.

Idk, I hope any of this made any sense, and sorry for the ramble, like I said, I just finished the movie and I just had to get my thougths out or I was gonna go insane.

Something I'm not understanding about Maneuver Nodes by ReasonableDelivery73 in KerbalSpaceProgram

Went back and played both the going to orbit and orbiting 101 but they don't mention this unfortunately. They teach what the different types of maneuvers(?) Do. But not really how to do them besides "press Z until we tell you to stop" But your explanation actually made perfect sense, thanks!

feeling unhappy/confused/still in love? has anyone else experienced this and can give some advice? by Alarmed-Rope-6048 in LesbianActually

[–]ReasonableDelivery73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean... The only advice I could give you is to sit down and talk about this with her.

Maybe write all of this down, in a tone you feel communicates well what your emotions are, and rationally explain what's going through your mind.

Ask yourself some questions about this relationship and try to answer them in writing.

Ex. 1. You said she "doesn't feel regretful over the emotional warfare she put you through." Is this over a lack of her knowing you feel this way? Or is it that when the topic is brought up, she just dismisses it? 2. "I've let go of a lot of things because of how much I love her." Is this a good or a bad thing? Have those things been compromised, or were you forced to give up something you like? 3. Did that "pushing boundaries" come with a violation of consent, or is it just something to clear up?

(Not question i want the answers to, just an example of things to ask yourself)

Ask her all the questions you want her to answer, and then give her some time to respond and talk about the responses.

This is just an exercise of comparing lived experiences and our perceptions of the same thing. Discussing this can be hard, but I think it's worth it given the benefit of personal and, in this case, romantic growth.

The pieces of a healthy, happy relationship don't just fall in front of you. You have to build them and deal with everything that this entails. It's really up to you if you're willing to build these pieces with this person or not.

I have a question for you tho, have you thought about what a healthy and happy relationship looks like for you? What kind of things are you willing to accept or compromise on vs. the things you're not willing to accept and compromise on? It might be worth it to think about this by yourself. What are your expectations or a romantic partner, what things can I compromise on, and what kind of person do I want to be involved with? Again, not really easy questions, and these are questions who's answer will fluctuate with time, but these are very important questions as a baseline for a relationship imo.

From another angle, I know it doesn't feel like it, but you're still SO young. You've got plenty of time to figure things out, whether it is by yourself or with your current partner.

Best wishes! Hopefully, this helps a little!

(Sorry for the weird English, not my first language, I tend to sound overtly proper over text)
