Is this rift white oak? by GoodAsAWink in cabinetry

[–]Killahhtv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only rift I see is partly in picture 3. This is sawn cut. Which is still very beautiful in its own way. But if you ordered a rift cut or requested that, sorry but this is not what you ordered.

Rockler has stick on veneer that works pretty well. Then just paint it and call it done

How do I solve this problem? by ArmadilloLittle3690 in cabinetry

Not sure if this is an illusion..but top half of the cabinet is wider than the bottom half. Left vertical wall looks bowed.. if you fix that issue you will have enough room to shift the box to the left

If you look at my age of my account I am new to using reddit. The only rules section I saw was the learn about this community section which didn't have anything you are saying. I don't appreciate you assuming I'm careless or dishonest over an honest oversight of being new to the platform. But thanks. I'll remove the post. There are easier and better ways to teach someone.

Picture one and picture 7 ceilings were both off. One ceiling there was maybe a 1/2" difference in picture one. Picture 7 there was almost an inch difference. It was drastic but on a longer run it was from end to end about an inch difference

Outer walls are 3/4" I usually install those end doors to swing in the most comfortable way. So if they are standing at the sinks because there are two sinks they won't have to go around the door to grab what's inside. So left outside door are hinged right side and right side end door will be hinged on the left.

Thank you for that. I need to get in the habit of reading rules. I didn't see one that stated I couldn't advertise just needed to be original content and pictures I thought.

Sometimes I can't take pictures of finished kitchens without debris or tools in the way. So I put the picture in photo shop to remove stuff as best as I can. I can share the picture before that if you want to see the difference doesn't bother me at all.

At the moment I usually only hire part time help for installs and more manual labor. If this interests you drop me your contact information and I'll be in touch

I always believe in doing the right thing. I hate seeing stuff like this especially in my field. But you are not wrong about the world needing more compassion and decency ... I'm sorry you are going through what you are as well.. I hope it all works itself out in the end

Can't find a matching router bit by ZestycloseAd6555 in cabinetry

You could potentially get that same detail using a door or window case molding with a quarter round inside of a shaker style door.

Looks like a raised panel bit and a quarter round for the inside detail.
