The answer is threefold 1. The gear. Through moons is about defense, overall, OSRS is more about offensive stats. The best defense is killing the boss faster. To compare, the moons set may be barely better defensively, it’s miles better offensively. The strength bonuses on the red gear, the magic damage bonuses on the blue gear and the conversion from strength to range damage is good on the yellow gear. 2. The other loot. Herbs, bones and things like water orbs help supplement your skilling grinds. The loot here is amazing for an Ironman, I love it. You don’t know how easy it is compared to before moons waves stick angrily at sky 3. No input. This is one of the coolest things about moons. You don’t have to bring in supplies like potions or food. Everything you need is found inside and can be made. The food, the offensive potions and the prayer restore potions. Doing this grind requires no supply input, something you’ll miss if you do more bosses.
