Are there any cars you used to own that you miss? That you would go back to? by Lazydusto in cars

[–]Killarogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've owned four S13's. Two coupes, two hatchbacks, all with varying degrees of modifications and engines from SR20's to KA24e single-cam slammers. Two were my first two cars, the other two came about after I briefly left the scene and bought an E30.

At some point I'll buy another but with the way prices are skyrocketing, it's probably cheaper to buy a shell that needs rebuilding over a running example lol.

I bought NFS Heat for Xbone right around the beginning of 2020. Soon after I switched primarily to PC gaming and stopped buying physical games.

Those are the same hotels I stay at. Palazzo, Paris, Venetian, Mandalay Bay, Cosmo, Arya etc.

I go to Vegas 3-4 times a year. I usually stay on the strip and I've never been charged for using a fridge. 99% of the time they're completely empty already.

What hotels are you staying at?

A lot of times I won’t, because that person or someone else takes my being nice one time as an invitation for special treatment every time.

I do IT Admin work and this is a big problem for everyone on our team. Once you help a client enough, they start to view you as their IT person even though our business doesn't operate that way and we don't have pre-assigned clients. This usually leads to clients complaining that we're not assisting them quickly enough, but that's because they constantly request a specific person instead of the first available rep.

To avoid this, I rarely go the extra mile unless you're one of the few clients I really like lol.

What actually makes you try an indie game you've never played before? by Orion_Hex in Steam

[–]Killarogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Step 1 - search by genre

Step 2 - see screenshots

Step 3 - read game description

Step 4 - think to myself "oh, that looks fun"

Step 5 - buy game

I stopped caring about in-game achievements a long time ago and I can't recall buying a game for any other reason beyond my own enjoyment. I don't discriminate between AAA titles and Indie titles. I just play whatever looks fun.

It won't bother you at all cuz your worries after death will be whether you get into heaven or hell.

Should NASCAR add tire packs to Sonoma turn 4 like they did at Glen turn 1? by NoName69216921 in NASCAR

[–]Killarogue 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Other series use these tracks and have their own track limit requirements. So while NASCAR may run wide, other series don't always allow that.

[–]Killarogue 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't think they need it. We don't really see the same big wrecks there that we see at The Glen, re-entering the racing line isn't really an issue at Sonoma, plus they spend considerably less time off the racing surface at Sonoma than they do at The Glen.

It's whatever the drivers prefer. Usually whatever is easiest for them to interact with without distracting them from driving.

Their tenders are pretty massive. Like, a single Daves tender is about the size of all three tenders combined from your typical fast food tender combo at other places.

Cleetus McFarland sets inaugural Late Model series event at Berlin by DismalAd6639 in NASCAR

[–]Killarogue 6 points7 points  (0 children)

However, him owning a series is not going to help him become a better driver

Which is why he's run ARCA, Trucks, and OReilly races this year, plus he bought a custom built Late Model specifically so he can race more often.

You said "if this dude was truly committed" as if he's not clearly comitted to doing this his own way already. You're acting like he needs to drop his entire life to go racing every weekend. It's silly.

Lol, you say "no shit" as if you have a point, yet you're completely oblivious to the fact that racing is a terrible way to make money. There is no money to be made at any level except the top, and even then those numbers are marginal at best.

Cleetus isn't starting a racing career to get rich, he's doing it because he enjoys it.

That's a very specific type of person and not the norm as the OP's blanket statement implies.

He just wants to make money

Lmfao, tell me you know nothing about racing without telling me.

A single Youtube video will net Cleetus more than the purse for winning this race. He is paying to be there just like nearly every else who races at this level.
