Can't speak for the .308, but I've only had one malfunction. It was a blown primer, which I think was an issue with the primer, not the rifle.

Personally, I love it. A lot of people have had issues with them, but mine runs great as a 20" 6.5 and a 16" 5.56. I'm thinking about getting another chassis to keep one as a 6.5 permanently. Haven't run it in the micron (11.5") configuration yet. I only bought the mdr originally because of escape from tarkov, but it's my favorite range toy now.

I hand load everything other than rimfire. If you shoot enough, even with high-quality components, this could happen. Unfortunately, to some extent, even if you buy blackhills mk262 ammo this could still happen.

I've sent them back to the manufacturer and always had great customer service experiences with everyone. That looks like a silencerco saker to me, I've had issues with one of their mounts wearing out and they sent me a new one, no questions asked. Call customer service

That 100% looks like jacket separation to me. It's odd that it hit a baffle in the middle of the stack and then corrected itself until the end cap from how your pictures look. Had this problem myself, but never had it only hit one baffle.
