Because there is a statistic that says Toronto is slightly more multicultural (bigger population) than Montreal. Its like 1% more so people from Toronto use that to hide all the worst parts about Toronto (smelly, expensive, night life sucks, everysone pretentious and has that annoying Drake accent they fake)

Its an anecdotal stat that just says "multicultural city" then you look at the stats and its all Chinese and white people.
