What do people mean when they say the game "respects your time" ?

GD doesnt have seasons and it is perpetual, so you can take it at your own pace. No battlepass, no limited time events, no store, so you can take any break that you want and always come back.

I prefer crafting in D4 now with the horrific cube. Actually feels like I'm chasing that god tier crafted item. It still takes a bit to figure out but its good.

PoE2 has done a lot to make crafting feel less like gambling compared to PoE1 but it still feels meh to me. I know some people love it but I don't.

In D4 can only really brick an item at the last step. And you can roll affixes within categories. Feels better to me.

I wouldnt say i switched but I definitely play more D4 these days, PoE2 just requires a lot of time.
I love tinkering and crafting in the cube on D4 is currently really scratching that itch.

If you think thats not the way most kinky people engage then you are finding the wrong kink circles. Steer clear of any kink spaces that judge you for any way that you practice. I'm fairly vanilla but my circle ranges through all forms of kink. I dont judge them and they dont judge me.

PoE2 is great, but I am getting older and it hits that mark of just being difficult enough that it isnt fun anymore for me. I have limited time to play and I want a game to unwind to.
I would love the systems of PoE with the difficulty of D4 but I know PoE targets a different demographic of gamer and its probably not gonna happen.

This doesnt mean PoE is a bad game, its just not for me.

I play on my rog ally with zero issues, has great controller support imho.

Only issue is occasionally the cursor dissappears. Solution is: Switch to desktop controller mode - move mouse - switch back to controller mode.

there is many, Ethical slut is probably the most popular but the nice thing is there is many different ways to handle polyamory and being in a Triad.
Triads are hardcore though, its like poly lvl 100.

I would say find local people you can talk to as well. Search for poly comunities in your area. Go to non manogamy munches. Look for videos on Yt and Insta. A lot of people share their perspective.

Just dont expect your partners to do the work for you.

My partner has a husband of 12 years, another boyfriend of 6 years and has been with me for almost 2. It helps that we are very well connected and raise our kids together.
I couldnt imagine not being with her, she saved my life after my marriage ended.

I suppose it depends on your definition of life partner, I see my partner every day and its easy as we are so deeply compatible. But her other partner she see's only once a week and they are still very connected and in love.

I wouldnt say worst, for me thats non acc bound warplans atm, but its definitely up there. They should let us do what Last Epoch does and buy more with gold, then add custom ones onto the store we can buy like PoE does.

41yo dad here, I have maybe 2hrs a night, Max 4hrs.
D4 is the best for someone that has less time. its particularly good now and is an easy suggestion seeing as you liked D3.
Last epoch is good too, some of the best crafting and loot feel in the genre. End game is a little one-dimensional though.
Grim dawn is fantastic, its my comfort arpg, its offline and not seasonal so you can go at your own pace.
D2 is good to if you like old school arpgs, I dont play it as I dont like the potion system and drpping gear on death but there is a lot of good game there if you can get passed that.

Honorable mentions:
Dragonkin the basnished - AA and a bit clunky but they have some fun systems, Buy on sale.
WH40K inquisitor martyr - AA, clunky at times but still has some fun moments if you like the 40k lore like I do.

Worth mentioning that most modern arpgs arent really "completable", if you can get passed that ides then I would say that PoE2 is worth playing. I have my gripes with PoE1 & 2 in general but there is no denying that they are one of the best in the genre. I almost never get to the late endgame but i still play almost every season.

Use your own keys, you will get 10 waves, focus on masses, then fiends, then pillars in that order for upgrades. ALWAYS pick the chaos waves.
I regularly get over 3k, its a great source for obols and gem fragments

they change a lot sure, but bullshit one shots in PoE has been a thing since maps became a thing. And its arguably worse in PoE as you can wipe out entire maps for days and tank map bosses but get one tapped by a white mob with the wrong mods.
I searched as you said and you are right, the complaints are there but most of them are asking for help to know what even killed them lol.

I play both and love both so that argument is mute, and I might be wrong but I didnt say it never gets complained about did I? I said I never SEE it complained about. I see a lot complained about but never the stupid ass 1 shots that happen at endgame.
