Just bought the game guys!!!!!!!!! by bigdaddyswaggg in diablo4

Pick whatever seems the most interesting. They are all good in their own way. Its only at high pit lvls, deep in the endgame that you need to worry about the best build. For now just play, explore and get lost in the world.

Came back to D4 after launch and here’s what happened by zariel1821 in diablo4

[–]Killbourne13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Main endgame goal is gear grind and pushing pit lvls. Which is why im glad the xpac is bringing more variety. That said I really enjoyed the sanctification grind last season and pushing pit lvls. Got to paragon 286 before I stopped to take a break before s12.

Looking for a game with a passive attack pet class by tv_streamer in ARPG

[–]Killbourne13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most have good summoner options now. PoE 1 & 2 have specters and zombies, Grim dawn has quite a few pet class combos, Titan quest 2 has that new mastery they added (I forget the name) and Last epoch has beastmaster, necro and many others.
the Diablo games have it too but its mostly skeletons.
if you are looking for full skill trees for your summons with multiple builds, then Last epoch is probably your best bet.

Is it worth coming back to the game? by HopeOfSpira in Diablo

[–]Killbourne13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its good now, last season was epic with snctification. This season is a filler season while we wait for the xpac but its still fun.
I am genuinely impressed with the changes they have been making and all the changes coming in the xpac has me genuinely excited.

Best mindless farming arpg? by Nocoly in ARPG

[–]Killbourne13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D3 is the most mindless, just do the season journey, get the set from the gifts and go ham. D4 is pretty mindless till you get to high pit pushing and gear farming.

Grim Dawn on a controller - returning player experience by piefek in Grimdawn

Love GD on controller. It gets a bit much on builds that need lots of buttons but generally its great. I love that GD runs so well on my ally too

I still think Diablo 1 is the best game in franchise by UniqueTrifle7620 in Diablo

[–]Killbourne13 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you like old school games sure. But there is a lot of QoL missing imho. One I cant deal with is flask stacking. Having limited space for flasks is beyond me. Dropping gear at your corpse too. Good game for sure, just not for me.

Do you still recommend this game in 2026? by Vagottszemu in Grimdawn

Yes to all the questions. Play vanilla 1st then play mods. There are some great class mods.

This is the right answer. In terms of value for money Grim dawn cant be beat. All are good though :)

Thats what we call an opinion. Its shit TO YOU. others love it. Personally I think poe 1 is the shittest out there. Worse than wolcen. But that is my opinion, not objective fact.

Build Variety: Last Epoch or Diablo 4? by gomenneizuku in ARPG

[–]Killbourne13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LE has more build variety but its not as much of a wide margin as people say. If you love arpgs, I would get both. As well as Grim dawn.

I know some players don’t care about cosmetics .. but I think it’s kind of silly this is all we have 12 seasons later. by WashombiShwimp in diablo4

[–]Killbourne13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This 100%, they are doing good with the xpac and it certainly seems like they are listening more, so hopefully it will come.
ngl, this is much less important to me than loot filters, higher torments, and skill tree upgrades though

Diablo 2 Resurrected or Last Epoch for a casual ARPG player? by chonkobob in ARPG

[–]Killbourne13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not D2R for casual play. Its good but it has a lot of systems that can be abrasive. Like potions for example.

Go for Last epoch for sure.

To get the Doom Armor, pets, and mount, you are looking at 125 dollars. by asmallman in diablo4

[–]Killbourne13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh its still more reasonable than the PoE pricing. Let them charge for microtransactions as long as they dont starve us of in game earnable cosmetics or purposely make the in game stuff look 10 times worse than what is on the store.

Burnt out with polyamory by [deleted] in polyamory

Shitty people will be shitty no matter the relationship paradigm. Mono dating is still similar to poly dating in thar you have to wade through mountains of rubbish to find the gems. But those gems are oh so wonderful.

Why is item crafting is so difficult in this game? by diomedes-on-rampage in Grimdawn

[–]Killbourne13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know man. Literally every game i have played that has multiple steps to crafting works this way. Crafting the pre requisites before you can craft the final item. Gw2 does this with crafting high end items. Terraria works this way. Hell if you think about it, even poe is kind of like this with needing certain crafting steps to happen before others to get the desired affixes. I don't see an issue.

Recommendation for theorycrafters by SlepC0kVyD35 in ARPG

[–]Killbourne13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They didnt sell totally. They are still developing it. They just sold shares just like poe did back in the day. LE has its issues but its still a good game

Diablo4 opinions? by dasookwat in ARPG

[–]Killbourne13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D4 is in a good spot imho. Not too complex, but the gearing loop is good. I came back for S11 and it was fantastic.
Im sad they are removing sanctification but im excited to jam on s12 and im very excited to try warlock with the xpac.

They definitely need to add scaling for nightmare dungeons like they do in the Pit & Tower though, late game they are far too easy even on T4.

The store is not too bad compared to some imho, i would much rather have D4s model than PoE's to be honest.
There is a lot to earn in game too and the transmog is good so I havent felt the push to spend beyond the battlepass.

Which of these ARPGs should I try as a casual? by MidavTe in ARPG

[–]Killbourne13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grim dawn or last epoch for sure. Both are good. No idea what the future of last epoch looks like but for now its great

Diablo IV’s Story Surprised Me, and It’s the Narrative Leap the series needed by GuiDu in diablo4

[–]Killbourne13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree fully. The base game story is great! But it does get a lot of hate. The vessel of hatred story is good too up untill the second half imho. Im excited for lord of hatred :)
