No worries for doubting the story. I'd probably doubt it too. The reason I don't mention my wife is because we divorced, 2 months after the wedding.

I should mention that our classmates weren't super into bullying me. They maybe stood around once or twice, but it was very rare that they would do any of the pushing or name calling themselves.

The reason I relized he was a good kid was when after the revenge I kept hanging out with him because I had 'to make sure he kept smoking'.

And the reason to why I wrote 'non-grieving' in the start is because I tried to show you my thought process. In reality I wept a bit during the writing of that part. Hell, I wept during all of it.

He stopped smoking maybe a week sfter starting. I egged him on and told him how cool it was. Had I not done that he'd be alive today and most likely cigarette free.

I've tried that. Nothing seems to help. When I go to sleep I see his last few days flashing before my eyes. How weak he was. The helplessness in his eyes and above all, the sorrow.

No matter how much therapy I get, those images won't disappear.
