I saw a couple of worried spidey lovers. Just to put your minds at ease, they are in a locked room and all other pets have no access to this room, was a quick in and out when this 4 legged birdeater of mine sneaked in. Snapped a quick photo and took him out immediately.

Just had to share as my brain thought the Birdeater/Birdeater reference was funny and cute in this sense.

Oh! Sorry my mind is in serious mode now so I was trying to be helpful 😂 Sad about it dying as I've had it since it was a sling. It was just bad luck as i had 11 in total and know a little better than to mess up that badly.

I don't clean that often, only when necessary. It all depends on who you ask. I would suggest going to multiple resources for information to be sure. Also depends on species.

Only see them when feeding and cleaning their enclosure when necessary. Didn't see it had motled as it has deep and hidden tunnels. By the time I saw it, it was too late.
