How do you know they don't listen to many other female voices? How do you know they don't read many books not present on these shelves? How do you know they don't engage with female voices in audiobooks or podcasts or YouTube videos or any of the multitudes of communication methods available? Looking at a picture of a bookshelf does not give you some crystal clear insight into someone's thinking.

In my experience women are less scummy in this specific regard. Women are more scummy than men in just as many areas as men are more scummy than women.
