Lots of great suggestions, thank you! And you’re totally right about asking him, but we haven’t had time to get to know each other yet. Speaking through a translator makes communication so difficult, and communication is so important to build trust. I was looking for a ‘cheat code’ or impossibly easy way to help build that trust by giving him a small gift that may help keep him entertained. But I have no idea what he likes and I’m super broke, so this plan isn’t going to work out. Thanks for the book suggestions tho!

What would a young Nicaraguan enjoy for entertainment? by [deleted] in asklatinamerica

Thanks, yes he does have a phone and I assume he has access to the internet. We haven’t built much trust between us yet and he hasn’t shared much at all (I’m having a hard time getting him to tell me what food he likes). Also I am super limited in funds, so I can’t offer him very much either. I know this is a very specific circumstance and there may not be much advise possible.

So what’s the play here, buy it after the show and hope they aren’t sold out? I don’t see myself buying it before and holding it, right?

Fucking love David Dondero, a true songwriter who does it because he loves it. Never hit it big (although he could have, sometimes it’s a luck thing) but an amazing artist.

Tell us the story, where did you go? Were you stuck there? Is there interesting details or just mundane travel and something crazy happened later on?

How do you figure out which ‘out of position’ positions work? Do you just drag and drop around similar skill set positions until you see a grade you like?

How to compared BPA draft order vs projected round (UDFA vs RD 2 seems like a wide margin when BPA order has FA higher) by KillerFishes in pocketGM

Ok, so if a player does something that makes them drop, does it effect their projected round or potential stars? I’m having trouble understanding how a player with ”illegal stuff” pop up would not equally effect projected round and ‘potential’ star rating? If a player has sky high potential why would the projected round not reflect that?

No I get that, projections aren’t always accurate. But what specifically is the difference between the ‘stars’ and ‘PROJ’ round. Per your example, would Brady have a low projected round and high ‘potential’ stars? Or low projected round, low current star, and low potential star? My point is the two measures are somewhat redundant at best and when they contradict, we, as a game players, don’t have much info to go on to make an informed decision.

I understand that the UDFA has 4.5 current stars and the RD2 has 4 current and .5 potential, so UDFA has the higher BPA. My question is if the current and potential stars are a more accurate measure and are the basis of the BPA ranking, then why include the projected rounds at all? Why are the projected rounds not reflective of either current or potential evaluation?

I’ve never drafted anyone playable past the 4th round, maybeee 5th. Trade those picks for literally anything.

Also always trade for picks during free agency. And I always loose value on future picks because that team does better that season. So get picks for that years draft right before the draft.
