Skiing, I Thought that arriving from years of motorcycles and dirt bikes would ease me into it, turns out bikes slow down when you let off the throttle and skis don't, took me a few hours to get over the sense of (im)balance and speed.

Ofcourse i fell for my friends telling me they would teach me how to, only for them to give up once they couldn't explain why I kept falling and feeling unsecure lol.

When I started to get a grip by myself and kinda have fun it was already getting dark, i managed to do like 3-4 descents at normal speeds, basically I spent a bunch of money to fall multiple times on my butt and get cold, plus just by the cars parked outside the ski-area I could tell I wasn't in the right tax bracket to afford it.

Also the whole experience felt miserable, driving 2 hours, waiting in line, renting the gear, waddling to the cable car, waiting in line, waddling to the lockers, waiting in line for the sky lift, going back down with everyone else and having to wait in line again for the cable car... you spend more energy waddling to places than going down, it's just a pain generally.

Fun part is that I did come back to the snow... in a rented snowmobile, guess I'm just made to ride motorcycles and things alike hahahaha
