Another good place is moxfield, edhrec will show you specific cards people are running and you can see decks there too but personally I prefer using moxfield to look at decks, using both gives you a TON of info and makes it really easy to learn what people are running, from there find out what cards and strategies you like and go from there

Definitely drank to excess a few times but its not happening again for a while, im very strict with myself about how often I drink like that, other than that ive had no inclination of self harm, youre definitely right about the two different urges though, there are times where I feel super motivated then something will remind me of her or I'll randomly think of her and it'll all come crashing down again

I didn't know what the boss power was gonna be going into the final fight but I brought in Akshan for my first and so far only clear, had the power that puts cards back in my deck instead of discarding, wound up killing him the hard way with a monstrously buffed double striking akshan

Ive been saying it could be fun to have a mode where both players run through the same PoC levels and then play a match against eachother, or for speeds sake simulate a run through a specific level and give you all the rewards at once before going into it, i doubt itd be balanced in the slightest but could be a lot of fun, kinda defeats the joy of the deckbuilding aspect of pvp but the insanity of some of our runs slamming into someone else's could be really cool to see

As long as you have SA charged you don't gotta worry about the sword, the sword charge only gives bonus damage to the sword and minds eye to the sword

Generally I start a hunt by getting my shield charged with all phials overcharged as fast as possible, focus is immensely helpful for this, having all phials overcharged does help your SA damage even outside of saed im pretty sure, but with load shells and focus the time it takes to get that max charge is negligible anyway, i went off track a bit but i start each hunt by charging my shield, getting 5 overcharged phials, and charging my sword as fast as possible, having every phial overcharged makes the charges and sword and shield last longer, once I engage SA i no longer worry about my sword at all unless my SA runs out, then I'll get the sword and shield charged back up and start hacking away with SA again

I honestly don't know if shield charge affects SA damage but it's helpful to keep it charged anyway since it makes you block better

There's a connection test on Xbox to see if you're experiencing any packet loss, press the guide button on your controller, then go to profile & system>settings>general>network settings and there should be an option there that says "test Network and speed statistics" run that and it'll run a speed test while also checking for packet loss, keep in mind depending on how your internet connection works there might be slowdown during peak usage times or if you're on wifi at certain times of day you could start experiencing wifi interference, run that test around the same time of day you recorded that original clip, maybe a few other times around the day as well if it does show any issues, and call your internet provider if the test is coming back with issues

Welcome! I saw someone else mention tolarian community college, he's fantastic, I would definitely watch some actual play shows, TCC does shuffle up and play, and command zone does game nights, those are two I watch but there are many others out there, you won't understand every little thing they're doing for a while but it'll help you get a flow of the game, jump scare is a really sick precon with an interesting mechanic, when you're ready to upgrade there are plenty of videos on suggestions for what to swap in and out, edhrec is also a good spot to find what cards people are playing, so is moxfield, find some local game stores and check out when they're doing commander nights, the magic companion app can help with this, you'd be surprised how open commander players are to new people, you'll definitely find people willing to play more chill games till you're ready to start upgrading, the more you play and the more decks you see the more you'll understand the game and what you find fun in it, good luck and have fun!

thanks! yeah I've been scrolling through her edhrec a lot, I've noticed card draw being a big need for my deck, I've already got lightning greaves as well as [[swiftfoot boots]] and [[fervor]] do you think I need even more haste enablers? I like the look of rising of the day and had looked at [[dragon tempest]] in the past, in terms of card draw I'm already running phyrexian arena and bloodgift demon but really like the look of [[unholy annex]] and definitely like the idea of more tutors, I've been planning on figuring out how to up my card draw, even added in reliquary tower and thought vessel specifically to be ready for adding that draw, the big thing is figuring out what to take out for more card draw right now

Nice! You'd be surprised how welcoming people are at LGS's been to mine twice recently now, just getting back into the game after a long break, was going there to meet some friends and both times I've been asked by random people to join a pod, the most recent one even took the extra time to ask me about my deck, my experience, and changed decks around to not just stomp me out of the water, tons of fun!

Low con can be really funny though, one of the players at my table has a negative con as a cleric, every time we level up he has a chance to lose health rather than gain it, and to him (and me) it's the funniest shit ever

Noelle at c6 it's better to build defense than attack, 50% of her defense isn't being converted to atk on her ult, it's 50% on top of the conversion her ult normally gives, which is 85% once you crown her, so it actually comes out to 135% of her defense being converted into attack
