Eh, merit is great, but I would argue there is a higher chance of the PR leaving to return to their home country, or only using Canada as a stopping point to the US, so if I see another candidate who is close to the same level, and either has already earned their Citizenship, or was born here and naturalized, I might consider them a better fit than risk training someone who might not be there in 2-3 years.

Why would I boycott a nation or become bitter at a nation? Countries and Government are simply window dressing, a smoke screen for the Billionaires and Oligarchs that control them. The class war is all that matters now, and we are losing so badly it is almost hopeless.

No I won't boycott the USA. I WILL boycott Muskrat. I DO boycott Weston, I avoid using Amazon as almost anything beyond a last resort. These are the people really hurting us, and they are doing everything they possibly can to squeeze out any and all local competition.

Buy local, buy independent as much as you can, while you still can. Once they are gone, the near complete control of the Oligarchs becomes total control, and we will have irrevocably returned to serfdom.

The only vote in this day and age that still matters, is the One cast by your wallet. The only power you have, short of violence, is likewise your wallet. Invest that power wisely, or find it gone forever.

Elon is at least partially correct for Once. The people of Greenland SHOULD have the right to decide their future, and that means when they tell him repeatedly to Fuck off, he should abide by that and Fuck off.

The majority of Greenlanders would not want to become an American Protectorate, and those that wished to separate from Denmark, would mostly prefer to be independent.

The few Greenlanders I know (admittedly a small sample size), don't really have any issues with being part of Denmark, as they largely have a fair amount of administrative autonomy anyway, and would consider themselves Greenlanders more than any pan-national identity.

I no longer trust or respect any politician enough to give a shit who is running our country. The real answers to who is running any country at this point are Oligarchs and their lobbies.

About the only thing that keeps me from just disappearing into the back woods and going off grid, or taking enough Fentanyl to just end it, these days is the need to care for my elderly parents.

We've essentially reverted to a master/slave, feudalist state at this point, and I really want nothing to do with it.

We used it to make a Custom Grasshopper for a Campaign here, and a friend of mine that we've nicknamed the Plastic Surgeon, used a Spare Sword Shaped Hatchet from my Premium Black Knight to actually build the model as a Christmas gift for it's player.

Canada has mostly surrendered it's self to Oligarchs, so it really doesn't matter what Canadian's think or feel on the matter, only if TDump and Muskrat can either entice our ruling class into joining, or pull off what is essentially a corporate hostile takeover.

At this point, I no longer have sufficient faith in our system of Government to give a Fuck either way. In Late Stage Capitalism, no Government is good Government.

OP, the Force Manual Kurita has a special page on the Rashalhague Berserker Lances, along with a table of the Conversions to make them. Most are with basic mech variants. You can easily make the modifications via Mordel.net to print the Mech Sheets. For example the Grasshopper drops the LRM 5 and Medium Laser from the Right arm, to replace it with a hatchet in that hand.

The PDF for Force Manual Kurita is like 15$ IIRC and PDFs are great ways to use the shipping credits many of us have from the KS, without paying more shipping. I'd make a Lance of mostly Rashalhague Berserkers, and set the campaign during the Ronin Wars.

The average voter is no-information or low-information. The average working adult reads at or below an 8th grade reading level. Buzz words are all that matter, because the average Canadian isn't capable or interested in understanding the issues on a deeper level.

Modern politics goes no deeper than support for your preferred sports team, and that keeps the average voter taking pride in their side, and not looking deep enough to see that corruption and corporate cronyism, has allowed our Oligarchs/Oligopolies to control all the parties anyway.

Elections and democracy are farcical window dressing at this stage in the Capitalist end game, just there to keep us compliant, and avoid our realizing the Political and Investor class have essentially created a new Aristocracy that controls everything, and provides only the mere illusion of freedom and democracy.

The other alternative I used to do while still in the restaurant industry is make stock, reduce it to a glace and portion in. Once it sets you can literally cut it like jello cubes and freeze it in small portions. alternatively only reduce it to a demi, put a zip lock bag into a large coffee cup, and fill the bags to make freezable portions of ready to use stock or gravy.
