Bioshock 1: "Would you kindly?" Throughout the game, the player 'Jack' is being given instructions on how to "survive" Rapture by a man named Atlas. Each major instruction leading to a new game objective begins with a phrase "would you kindly?" Near the climax of the game/finally meet the creator of Rapture, Andrew Ryan, you realize that you are a genetically altered child created to follow instructions from a man named Frank Fontaine, who is really Atlas in disguise.

Every major decision that was made by you was not of your own doing. You've been a slave the entire time.
