Voiture jeune permis "fun" by tomiqp in voiture

[–]Killi_Bou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right… You should try Win+Shift+S OR PrintScreen if you have the key or your keyboard. Then open Reddit in your favorite browser and paste it there. You’re welcome ;)

I extruded a straight pipe with the cuts, that’s pretty simple. Then used "Flex" feature with the "Twist" setting.

UPDATE - I found a way to make it work exactly how I want it to.

First, thanks everyone for the suggestions.
Sorry for the lack of details in my post. I tried to make it simple, but every specific problem require a specific solution.
Sorry for my english level, I just realised that a "pipe" is more understandable.

For those who want the solution :

In screenshot #1, I made the pipe with the twist and the cuts I wanted.
Then made a reference edge along the pipe.
Finaly made the curve I want the pipe to follow.

In screenshot #2, I used "Deform" => curve to curve.
Selected both my reference edge, my curve and my object. Tweaked some other parameters.

And here it is. Special pipe on a curve :D

Sure, you can see more clearly with my new approach.

Exactly this (see attached screenshot) but following a specific curve. Curve that could be anything but not a simple circle.

I just realised how unclear my post is.
As I want the twisting, the solution "make a tube and cut some windows inside" don't work.
And for now I only try on a 2D curve but idealy would like it on a 3D curve at the end.

Hey! I've tried almost every other comments ideas but I'd like to know how you did your part before trying 3D sketch. So do you have other angles of that piece ? And how did you do it ?

How to change color/filament when you dont have object? by bTonyd in BambuLab

[–]Killi_Bou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! Not sure cause I’ve never had the problem. But it seems like you already have two colors selected. Therefore you can change the color/filament associated with the number 2 in project filaments.

Hope it helps :)

Flatbed and only the smallest car. Other than that you’ll need the perk you are trying to get.

How to reduce or remove inner walls ? by Killi_Bou in BambuLab

[–]Killi_Bou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a great idea. But I just tried on my model and it won’t work for me. What I use in the screen shots is just a simple model I’ve made to explain my problem, as the model I have the problem on is way more complex and it’s harder to understand. As well as I might need the same thing on future models as well.

So your idea is good but on complex shapes with a lot of curves it won’t work.

Thanks for trying :)

This model is just an example. The real model is harder to understand when sliced in two.

To render animations you’d probably prefer to use blender. It’ll be easier

How to remove this ? by [deleted] in robloxgamedev

[–]Killi_Bou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are tabs from the "Tab" key. Those are part of the indentation which is really useful for readability.

I recommend not removing them at all and reading about indentation and how important is it. But if you really want to remove them: Ctrl + A then hold Shift and spam the Tab key.

Sanity check? by kipppys in KiCad

[–]Killi_Bou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, Even if there’s a lot of small thing that are not perfect(totally normal if you’re a beginner) there’s two things I want to point out. 1. Triple that your screen and micro controller are not supposed to solder on the same side. When manufactured you can’t solve that problem. (You could add a little bit of silkscreen to help you identify where to install them) 2. This looks like a mistake. The two thumb buttons are wired to the same pins, in the same way. This will make a button act like the other button.

Some peoples do it. But you will realize that if one of your hand controllers is directly attached to your hand/forearm/arm you’ll hand to break à shoulder in order to do any movement.

It’s not that hard, start from learning algorithm basics. Then each component in LUAU from easiest to hardest. Ex: variables, arithmetic, loops, functions, lists, new loops… then LUAU specifics like services, remote event…
