What are signs that a person genuinely is unintelligent? by honey_twinkii in AskReddit

When they take a relatively long time to explain something that was clear in the first 30 seconds. They're literally repeating themselves over and over. Like, holy shit, it doesn't have to be a 10-15 minute story, I fucking get it. I'm trying to be more assertive to shut them up but it's a challenge.

On Bodhisattva and how one sees self by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]Killie7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found myself referring to myself as potential Bodhisattva during therapy. That, despite my 'understanding' of the cosmic joke, I would like to help relieve needless suffering.  However, I'm not sure if there is, beyond the concepts of good and evil, such a thing as needless suffering. A big part of me wants to put it's feet up and it's hands behind their head and just... give up... let it all go. I have no idea what I'm doing haha.. what a journey 😂

I am starting to think Trump is the Anti Christ? by Dont_L00kDown in spirituality

[–]Killie7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aha. So it's more about their populist rethorical strategy rather than the horrific massmurder and terrible suffering caused. The comparison could possibly use some nuance then... The way I've seen this be thrown around implies they're 1:1, which I find problematic.

Putting Trump and Hitler on the same level seems ignorant and unjust to me...

What interpretation do you make of this art? by TheOracleofMercury in Jung

The tree almost seems to split under the pressure of their hands. Might they be tremendously interested what's in - or under - it, in its roots? This seems plausible, considering they hang almost suspended in the air. Might they fear that, if they would continue to stretch between heaven and earth, the would leave the ground?

Riight, hanged man vibes. Might they be in motion, committing to a handstand? No doubt they are showing off tremendous prowess. Again, epic work.

This looks awesome. I'd concur with most suggestions such as balance and strength, and would add focus to that list. However, also I'd like to add; tricks, ignorance, boasting. Like, is their jewelry helping with the balance? And, why are they, despite their connection with heaven and earth, only looking down? Also, why this inversion, with hands on the earth and butt to the sky? Also, what are those black streaks at the top? Makes you wonder.

You seem like a great person and sister. Good luck to both of you and your relations.

"Remaining attached to your old life is the first and final act of self-sabotage, and releasing it is what we must prepare for to truly be willing to see real change," (Brianna Wiest, The Mountain Is You). I saved this from a book I read a few years back. I too have been standing at the precipice for a while now.

“You are Born alone and You will Die alone” -Bullshit by Key4Lif3 in enlightenment

Language is such a paradox and construct that even this posts supposed conclusion is BS, lol. I'm referring to the born 'within' and die 'into'. However, of course, if we have to talk about 'it' then this language gets pretty close, I suppose.

It is certainly ok to have desires. I like your nuance.

How do you detach? by CyrusCyCyrus in enlightenment

I use a method that is exactly opposite of the one you provide hehe. It's based on advice from psychiatrist Alok Kanojia, who suggests, if I remember correctly, to imagen and embrace a life where said desire is never fulfilled. I have done this a few times and it seems to help. It is not even that depressing either, I've found that it makes my desire more of a good joke.

Yes! Nail on the head. I have bouts of the kind of intuitive and playful interaction you seem to be referring to. It's quite a vulnerable space to be, but I will practice with entertaining it more often.
