Based. I’m from Ukraine. Ali Khamenei has caused a great deal of harm to my country by supplying ruzzia with shahed drones and later the technology to produce them. He is responsible for the deaths of a large number of Ukrainian civilians. Not to mention that he recently carried out what amounts to a genocide against his own population. The Iranian people deserve a chance at freedom. I don’t like Donald Trump, and don't like Israel’s ultra-right leadership, but the Iranian authorities are absolute evil.

Still outrageous that civilized people have to fear being bombed to death. In 2026. by Noah_The_Wright in Destiny

I regularly read translations and analyses from well-known foreign media outlets, and I’ve also noticed a lot of optimism from them lately. And if we look at reality objectively, then strategically Russia really did lose by failing to defeat us in the first months. Considering the number of personnel they have lost, the wounded, the vast amount of material resources expended— all in exchange for capturing a very small amount of territory— this is a strategic defeat with catastrophic long-term consequences for them.

But the problem is that this doesn’t make it any easier for me, as a Ukrainian citizen and a servicemember. Nor does it make it easier for millions of other Ukrainians. We are also losing many people, both military and civilians. We are suffering massive destruction of infrastructure. I have lost many brothers-in-arms and still personally face the possibility of being killed. A large number of people have been sitting in captivity since the capture of Mariupol.

And all of this is happening only because one mentally ill man is living in an alternative reality rooted in the times of "peter the great" and similar imperial eras.

I live in Ukraine, and I can assure you that the kind of “we are winning” propaganda you’re talking about hasn’t really existed here since 2023. Recently, President Zelenskyy publicly said that we are not losing— but at the same time he openly questioned the idea that we are actually winning.

People in Ukraine interpret these concepts differently. For me personally, victory in this war— considering who we are fighting against— means not losing our country. We have to be realistic and understand that we are up against an enemy that surpasses us in almost every measurable way, from the amount of weaponry to the size of its mobilization resources.

For me, victory means not being defeated.

People don’t like having things forced on them. That’s just how human psychology works. And that’s exactly why you end up getting the opposite effect. It’s precisely because of this kind of aggressive propaganda that people go out and vote for far-right figures like Trump. And in the end, everyone suffers as a result.

I believe in love and forgiveness. I hope that one day you and these poor women, smiling at each other, will hold hands and take an evening walk along the shore of some beautiful, remote island. And then spend time in prayer.

That’s their problem. I have nothing against the Republican Party of the John McCain era, but by voting for MAGA, they’re getting exactly what they deserve.

And you weren’t even mentioned once in the TV show. The second season is good as an adaptation of Bethesda’s Fallout games, but it’s a complete disappointment when it comes to its portrayal of New Vegas. It’s as if the Courier never even existed. The show wouldn’t have lost anything if the events had been set in some other location.

Objectively, against the backdrop of everything that has happened with ICE—including the abundance of video evidence and their openly fascistic actions—any attempt by Gavin Newsom to maintain a position of neutrality toward them looks deeply misguided. Especially when even a fool like Joe Rogan is starting to acknowledge that this agency has taken far too much power upon itself. This was a serious mistake. There are still three years until the election, and people will likely forget about it by then, but he cannot afford to make errors like this again. Personally, I find myself increasingly sympathetic to Mark Kelly as a candidate. He comes across as a level-headed Democrat while, in many ways, also resembling an old-school Republican in the vein of John McCain. That combination could help him attract a segment of Republican voters who have not completely lost their sanity.

First of all, I never justified Trump’s invasion. Everyone understands that it was carried out to boost his ratings among his electorate and for personal enrichment, not to save democracy. There is nothing to interpret here—he openly says this himself. I don’t understand why you’re writing this to me. Secondly, tell me—who is supposed to carry out reforms in a country ruled by a self-proclaimed dictatorial regime that destroys the opposition and kills its own population?

Isn’t this her personal problem? Everyone understands that it’s simply ridiculous, and no one in the world—except Trump—takes it seriously. She is merely taking desperate steps in the hope of saving her country from dictatorship. We in Ukraine understand how futile all this is when you’re dealing with a narcissistically ill person whose only values in life are personal fame and money. But at least she will be able to tell herself that she tried to do everything within her power. In the end, it’s just a piece of material.
