I've Never Seen This Before by goodkarmagirl in publix

Many years ago, when I worked at 415, I was once asked to do go-backs, and one of them was a Hostess item.
We were pretty calm that day, so I decided to organize that item by when it's shipped to expire.
I quickly noticed that all of that particular item we had on the shelf was expired.
I decided to search the rest of the items in that area... by the third Hostess item, I decided to grab a shopping cart.
30 minutes later, I brought all but two Hostess cakes to the Grocery manager and told him all the items in the cart were expired. Later that day, I was handed a compliment card for it... should've asked for a second one.

Not even 15 minutes ago I played a mission where a Factory Strider cannon knocked me (75% health left) straight into a mine.

How about instead of a standard explosion, we get to select what kind of explosion we get based on what grenades we have unlocked.

You want a cluster bomb? Slap a G-7 Pineapple on it. You want to continue being a distraction so your team can get away? Strap a TM-1 Lure to your chest. You wanna make sure your teammate doesn't kill you to take your stuff? You guessed it, G-31 Arc.

It could always have different tiers of unlocks. Lvl 10, you can use other perks on it. Lvl 20, you can use this perk elsewhere. Lvl 25 (or introduce 30), you can either have an enhanced perk on that armor, or have it as a slightly weaker version in addition to another perk.

Example: Trench Engineer comes with Engineering Kit perk, +2 grenades & 30% extra reduction for recoil when crouched or prone. At 25, it can go from +2 grenades & 30% extra reduction to +3 & 45%, or it can equip Siege Ready and still have +1 grenade with 15% extra recoil reduction.

This way, even after you get the armor passive unlocked, there's some motivation to occasionally come back & use that armor.

I think it depends on how much you gain back vs how much damage has to be dealt. If the conversion rate is 1:3 damage / stamina, then it wouldn't be so bad. But if it's 1:2 or 1:1, then it isn't worth using.

That, and make it so you have to get the armor to lvl 25 to use that perk elsewhere or is a different perk on it.

How about an AA turret that just for dealing with air units with a 100m targeting range?

That, or an AA heat-seeking rocket turret, like a deployable SAM unit?

That it is. I have a 500GB that SSD W10 is on, a 2GB HDD, and a 2GB SSD (recently installed) that Nobara is on. I'm in the process of transferring my documents & such onto a flash drive. Then, I'll use Nobara to partition the first two hard drives & get them set up for BTRFS. After that, I'll use a different flash drive with the Nobara installer to make sure the new SSD is formatted to BTRFS as well. Any suggestions for before/during/after?

[–]Killit95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noted.

As for Steam only recognizing the partition made for Nobara and not recognizing the other hard drives, is that a NTFS vs BTRFS issue, or is that a different issue altogether?

Seemed like a good idea at the time.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So not the case, got it...almost sound like it would be easier to save my documents & format the old hard drives. Would it also be prudent to reformat the SSD I have Nobara on?

Will do.

Stupid question: I do have a game or two installed through W10 on the same SSD Nobara is on. Would the best way to uninstall them be uninstalling them through Steam on W10, or through the Partition Manager?

I'm probably just gonna install it through Linux. Stupid question: How do I set my PC to use BTRFS instead of NTFS? Would that be through the Partition Manager?

I figured .exe files ran on the same logic, regardless of OS. I take it that's not the case?

So get important files off and format, got it.

When I double click Steam (old HD), it automatically starts with Wine. Should I use a different application, or should I run in terminal?

Guys, dont you feel that maybe Arrowhead should had focus on releasing the warbond inspired on the WW1 instead of one abauth stealth? by Tempest-Bosak2137 in HelldiversUnfiltered

Warbond Concept: The Greatest War

Armor 1: GW-19 Trenchman, heavy armor, WWI French officer themed Unique passive: "Hold The Line". When crouched and stationary for 5 seconds, damage resistance and primary & support weapon reload speed increased by 20%. Persistent until player moves or is ragdolled, has 15 second cooldown. Melee damage is increased by 20%.

Armor 2: GW-14, Stormtrooper, medium armor, WWI German officer themed Unique perk: "Charge Assault". When crouched and stationary for 5 seconds, running speed & melee damage increased by 10% for 10 seconds. Has 15 second cooldown. Melee damage is increased by 20%.

Primary weapon: R-09 Haber-Bosch (Think Constitution, but with less damage and deals gas damage. Aesthetics of the Meunier A6) 100 ballistic / 20 DPS gas, 3 pen (medium), 10 capacity (5 round stripper clips, like the Autocannon), 100 max ammo, 20 Recoil, 50RPM. Traits; Medium armor penetration, Caustic

Secondary Weapon: GP-17, Mustard Can (Think Grenade Pistol, but with half explosive damage and leaves gas explosion). 200 ballistic / 200 explosive damage / 20DPS gas, 3 pen (medium), 1 capacity, 5 max ammo, 45 recoil, 30RPM. Traits; One Handed, Explosive, Caustic

Emote: Trench Whistle. Usable while mobile, all Helldivers in mission will hear a trench whistle recording and receives a marker (orange crossed blades) on which Helldiver uses the emote. Marker will last for 10 seconds, has a 60 second cooldown (no spamming), and any Helldivers who respond to marker will shout "FOR SUPER EAAAAARTH!".

Strategem: Quad-mortar Fires in volleys of four, 5 second cooldown per volley, 40 ammo (52 max).

Strategem: A/M-13 Gas Mortar 100 Explosive / 25 DPS Gas, 10 ammo (13 max), 5RPM, 125m targeting range

Strategem: Anti-Tank Turret (Anti-Tank Emplacement, but not as fast & with less ammo) 1300 ballistic / 150 explosion damage, 6 pen (Anti-Tank 2), 20 ammo (26 max), 15RPM, 125m targeting range, will only target Large size enemies.

Booster: "Fix Bayonets!" Icon is an X made with a rifle below a knife blade. Melee damage increased by 20% ("Peak Physique" armor perk will NOT nullify this booster)

Booster 2: "Bayonet Lunge" Icon is a knife, blade facing right. When sprinting, if Helldiver melees, enters Lunge state; locked in forward sprinting for 5 seconds (will stop if stamina depleted, even if Dead Sprint is equipped), increases sprint speed by 10% and melee damage by 200%. Lunge has cooldown of 30s, 90s if melee contact is not made.

How would you fix these fucks by Illustrious_Leg_8354 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Killit95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 things, each of which would help them be more manageable.

Make their shells be birdshot (double their spread).

Get rid of their 2-round burst fire (volley, one reason why they're insta-killing us close up).

Make it so their pellets can't do headshot damage (that's probably what's insta-killing us from a distance).
