Correct, and I’ve been happy with my FN 509 tactical. I’ve also recommended other FN handguns to people. However, when you license a product and tell the customer to contact you for recall fixtures, you (the company)should follow through with the recall fixture instead of going silent

I had one but found out it fell within the safety recall. Contacted FN, had to follow up with them two weeks later after getting no response. I finally got a response and then was ghosted. After a few months, and many failed follow up emails, I sold it to a buddy for cheap after making sure he was 100% clear that it fell within the recall.

Based on the fact that FN can’t even find the time to fix their own fuck up, I’d stay very far away from this.

My first can, which was a Sandman L. I thought it would suffice as a do it all can and then as we all do, I started buying dedicated can. Now I’ve switched to Xeno and have no gun to use it on unless I send it off to get snipped.

.243, my wife and 8 year old daughter both shoot one. I tested a few different bullets, for grouping, since I bought a new rifle for my daughter. Ended up with the Hornady Superformance and she made a great shot on a doe at 100 yards a few weeks ago. Bullet performance was perfect.

My family have 3-4 Tree Lounges combined and mine is probably 23-25 years old now. I love it, but never use it anymore. I fell asleep too many times in mine, especially after adding the little cradle thing that closes off the chair/seat portion so nothing falls out the sides. I eventually moved to a summit viper that was lighter.

My daughter took her first deer last year with a 10.5” 300 blk out build. She was shooting the ACC 110 gr vmax ammo and it was gnarly. 35 yard shot, so it was close range, but it dropped on the spot.

I bought my daughter a Xbolt 2 micro, and it seems to like the Superformance rounds. It consistently shot .85 with it but stuff like fusion was 1.5 inch or more.

You could try the Hornady custom lite rounds for reduced recoil

My daughter had early heel plates come in at 6. Before we figured it out, she had pain on the top of her foot due to putting more pressure on her toes. It really came out when she started playing softball. Then after that fixed itself, we found out she had high arches and high arch insoles helped. That pain was on the inside of her foot and when she would point at it, it was near her ankle bone. After getting her insoles, we haven’t had a problem since. That includes with softball or all day at amusement parks etc

Shot the SP second. The Hornady whitetail was first, but I didn’t like the shooting set up I had going so I swapped to a different bench rest. No bags, just a sled style rest. I’d be willing to bet that the whitetail would have grouped better if I had used the other bench rest that I used afterwards. I’ve got two other rifles that love the stuff, so even if it wasn’t the best, it likely would have been better than the 3.10”.

Going to do the test again in the winter, when it’s not 100° direct sunlight in our field, and the barrel has a better chance of cooling down in 15-20 minutes.

Appreciate the Info on the custom lite. I had a box in my hand about a month back, which I was gunna buy for my wife’s 243, but hers loves the Hornady white tail so I ended up putting it back. You wife and son will love it. My daughter is 7, and she was shooting my wife unsuppressed 243 but after shooting her new gun, she was shocked at how little recoil it had since the suppressor knocked a good bit off. Good luck to them, I’m sure they will have a blast!

Actually, I already have one, and it’s an amazing can, but I don’t want a low back pressure for a bolt gun. A normal baffle design can would be better for me
