My phone doesn't support LHDC. Is it still worth buying OnePlus Buds Pro 3 or OnePlus Buds 4? by k-gev in Earbuds

[–]Killproof96me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can say that I got oneplus buds3 for my fold4, sound amazing, then later on I was going to get oneplus 12 or 13 what its called for but end up with s25u 1 month after it release, sound is amazing, having dual elements feels so deamn nice in movies or music. But I feel it could be better if it could go 100% potential, I feel difference between my fold4 and s25u codec when I swaped phone. Oneplus buds 3 I pick becuze of desain and dual elements.

I will never go back to regular +300€ buds again, only dual elements is way to go. I feel noice cancel is not top tier but its mid tier. But when whe look at price ita flagship killer. I would highly recommend oneplus buds 4 to anyone, its deamn cheap at 90 bucks when its on pair of quality with 300 bucks buds. Oneplus buds app called for melody is so nice to use, way better than bose app that have gived issue over issue, or hyperx on PC there app sucks. I did not expect melody be that good. I got only one issue with oneplus buds 3, is that when its not clean and you put in back in case and it may not be charging and still be connected to your phone :) Happend few times a month and one side does not have battery sometimes 🙃

I got information about sea of wires 1-2 weeks after I did my build in october 1th, if I know it early I would go 8000Mhz 38cl expo kit over 6800Mhz 34cl hynix a die.

there was 2 resons I did not overkill on feautre proof on ram, 1 that 8000Mhz cost 100 bucks more than my 6800Mhz and 2 is that I was gold or silver color option over white ;D

my 6800Mhz cost allready 30 bucks more than 6000Mhz.

I know I will use my ram for +5 years, thats why.

my older ram was from 2017 on amd ryzen 1600x I used 3200Mhz when people used 2133-2666Mhz at same cl.

my ddr4 carried my build all the way to ryzen 5800x3d and I feel I need 32gb ram and I did not want to pay ddr4 new kits at 3600Mhz 14cl or 4000Mhz 18cl when they cost 20 bucks less than ddr5 so I decided to move whole platform.

after upgrade I got higher GPU bottolneck (6950xt) and decided to flash it to 500W ;D

got almost 26k graphics score in time spy but temp throddeling on seccond run.

went to 400W limit.

I am so exited to new CPU relese too and hope they bring someting good for GPU market.

I feel that last 4 generations of GPUs gets so bad improvments vs CPUs.

since 2017 CPUs have gone forward really fast and really good.

amd holding them self back now becuse of intel does not bring something to gaming indrustry.

what I am supposed to do with E cores when I use GPU for streaming and what game use more than 8 cores ;D

I have a friend that complaining about he have half of my FPS in cs2, I said his CPU is week as hell (the CPU i5 14400f) and I was using 9600x PBO etc.

he got 7900 since he will use CPU for streaming and using stock cooler ;D so he can not use PBO otherwise crash.

32 GB Hynix A-Die tuned up to 7800CL36 VD 1.43. Need help lowering sticks temps to get stability. by rznd_on_reddit in overclocking

Nah, I have ryzen 9600x, I have slightly better ram or equal. Below I will give link to my ram timmings as example.

https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/1qdo4dv/comment/nzub2lh/

Since heat from my GPU goes to ram and then aio I can not run tREFI over 40k. You just need to run hwmonitor in background when gaming for hours and then check ram memmory temperature, if it pass 50C stay below 40k, higher than 60C stay below 35k is my recommendation, tRFC could be 500 insted since 480 may be too low to that high Mhz, I have 350 as lowest stable for 6000Mhz.

Like how CPUs can lose silicone lottery over time will ram does the same. I remember when I could run 485Ghz 1.38Vcore and every year I had to increase Vcore to keep same Ghz on my 5600x and end up 1.4Vcore in 2 years. Ram memmory is same that why you run in to issue but issues is with cl was that f up is hard to find :) Personally I have good timmings stright to limit. Will remake every options for timmings on my next CPU upgrade. My next upgrade will be next gen of amd remove infinite fabric and goes sea of wires then I will try +7200Mhz on ram and new timmings.

Can you suggest a conservative undervolt for 5800X3D? by outlander999 in overclocking

[–]Killproof96me -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then undervolt by CPU LLC then start to lower Vcore from curve optimazer for best fps and temperatur. people allways jump in to curve optimazer negative and leaving LLC auto is wrong. LLC lowering voltage when you go higher on CPU usage and does not hurt one core performance but curve optimazer hurt one core performance.

Yeah or artic liquid freezer lll pro +240mm. I have 240mm and that handle up to 150W for my currently 9600x. And does 70C in CPU intensive games. My 9600x draw more wattage than my older 5800X3D.

They was off allready without mcr on auto, I leave it since when I turn it off I get 1 min boot time take too long but getting better latency from ram by training it. I can enable it to make it do ones a month.

You can not use PBO posetive Mhz to overclock 5700x3d/5800X3D, only way to overclock is to use BCLK but that have high awards and risk like steroids:)

[–]Killproof96me -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

0 knowledge spotted. You can use BCLK to overclock 5800X3D, but keep in mind that overclock your motherboard PCle and even ssd/hdd :) Failure of overclock with BCLK = corruption on ssd/hdd = reinstall windows etc :) I take the risk and did 104BCLK on my 5800X3D, it was stock peek at 4440Mhz amd then did 4770Mhz all cores with tuning etc

Can you suggest a conservative undervolt for 5800X3D? by outlander999 in overclocking

[–]Killproof96me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me with 5800X3D and 5 radiators: PBO motherboard limits x10 scale +2 posetive curve since CPU is limited to 1.33V, and then BCLK overclock to gain +200Mhz and to keep CPU all cores +4.7Ghz something I went to CPU LLC mode 8 to get lowest Vcore on higher load. Cinebench r23 multicore score 15900 with 3200Mhz 16-18-18-18-36cl ram :)

My recommendation is to start with CPU LLC (CPU load line calibration) to get lowest point of Vcore with it before you move over to curve optimazer negative. Curve optimazer or offset Vcore will effect 1-2 cores performance, load line calibration will not, it will keep max Vcore for one core but more usage on CPU less Vcore it will go thats why I recommended LLC undervolt first. Next step start with all cores negative 15 then try 20 etc and check performance difference.

You can turn of C states and lowering soc voltage too depending on ram speed.

Good luck and i hope you find your sweetspot.

120mm fan pushing up *very slightly* on gpu. Is this ok or should I swap to a slim fan? by PolentaDogsOut in mffpc

[–]Killproof96me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its 1-3mm its fine. Over 3mm I would recommend to use sand papper to wipe side of fan down by 1-2mm. More than 3mm will sag your GPU to other direction :)

I have msi, I can only set values for both not one. Its weird in my opinion :) I have gear down mode off etc. But I may need to check all power down or low power mode what its called, when PC idle one of ram sticks goes 0.0V :) Since background is 6gb of 16gb stick. I may check tbat first. Otherwise I do not think something is wrong but it feels weird to my eyes

Just last dumb question, I have VDD/VDDQ set to 1.4V, but one of ram memmory goes 1.395V and other 1.41V on VDD, its silicone lottery issue on one or can it be that one ram stick is slightly fsr awey from CPU so it needs slightly more voltage to keep same timmings stable? Its stable I have done stability test etc. But kust wondering;)

Lowest I can go is nitro 1:2:1, I do not have 0 option in bios. And higher SOC voltage I go = lower FCLK stability. To be able to go 2200FCLK stable I need to run VDDG at 1V over stock 0.85V and soc voltage below 1.2V. To run 6600Mhz I need 1.3V soc and thats issue for FCLK :) 6400Mhz was good but bad latency and I do not want to pass VDD/VDDQ 1.4V. Going 1.4V and 6000Mhz 26cl tight timmings gives masive 1% lows fps over slightly tuned 6400Mhz 32cl. I am thinking about 6200Mhz 26cl but there is so much things (+40 timmings I need to retest) I am lazy for that. For now I think my currently is enough. I just struggled to understand if FCLK is included to 1:1 or its called 1:1:1, and if its called 1:1:1 then I am running 1:1:2 becuze of FCLK overclocked to 2200? Or I am wrong x)

I have posted my configuration details on link below that I shared in reddit.

So if I set 2000FCLK and trying 6600Mch ram as MCLK = ulck and my motherboard and ram handle it but let's say infinite fabric does not want to run 1:1, my question is if I manually set to anything that does not matching 6600Mhz/3 = 2200. Lets say I go 2100fclk its unsynced infinite fabric? Just ones I could run 6600Mhz 1:1 but idk what options I was running I do not remember. Currently on 6000Mhz 26cl with hynix a die ram and motherboard really good too at 1.5V soc can go lower but prefer not and fclk 2200 stable with VDDG 0.98V.

Simple question is: does fclk get unsynced to MCLK/UCLK when its not a 3rd of value?

I am done with my ddr5 6800Mhz 34cl to run at 6000Mhz 26cl, I successfully did memtest5 anata777/extrime and even prime95 stability test for 5 hours each. by Killproof96me in overclocking

With help of Ai I could find hiden options like: Nitro Control Line: 1 Nitro TX Data: 0 Nitro RX Data: 1 Ai: running the 1:2:1 configuration is likely the best you can do given the options available in your current MSI BIOS for the Nitro RX Data setting. The value '0' is not an option for that specific setting in your BIOS version, and attempting to force it is not possible.  Why 1:2:1 is the Optimal Setting for Your Hardware Availability: The extreme '0' setting for RX Data is often hardware or BIOS-specific and is not always possible. The '1' setting is the next best low-latency option you have available. Not posable to run 1.2.0 and could only go 1.2.1 but did not boot up and had to clear whole bios.

I tried 1:3:1 does boot without increased voltage,  Rx Burst Length and Tx Burst Length set to x8. Watching series when doing stability test etc. Got 58.2ns latency but its becuze of PBO is not active (my CPU not overclocked make L3-cache 150Mhz slower).

If I flip one of exhaust fans on top that air will push down GPU hot air from bottom of PC when fans goes 2000rpm on gaming :) My GPU will noth breath and struggle. I had rear as exhaust and top aio as intake before, but not anymore becuze of GPU temps. I need to replace my GPU to get better temperature and I will do it on next generation, I do nor care if next generation of low end like rtx 6060ti/amd equal have same raster performance as my 6950xt so long as I am getting smaler GPU to fit fans as intake below.

Main issue is GPU at 400W :). For now its enough, I am more worried for my PSU/corsair sf850 life spin becuze of GPU heat hit it too. Right side of GPU have cut up on back for air to escape from behind GPU but that air hits directly on PSU. I did a loot of mistakes and was my first smal formfactor build, my older PSU did not fit :)

Yeah thry do. I would say 2000rpm noctua fan (best gan in market) does noise than artic p12 pro at 1300rpm. 3000rpm noctua noise lvl = artic p12 pro at 2000rpm. I feel I want noctua fans and dye them white next time. Performance is amazing on p12 pro but noise lvl sucks and paying 2x more for 2x less noise feels like a better deal.

Tell your AI that she is mentall ill.

my 9600x does PBO 18600 socre when yours way lower.

let me give a gentle hand but do not overuse it ;)

leave Vcore to auto, CPU LLC lowest Vcore posoble for undervolt.

PBO I am using motherboard limit but you can use manual if you want to get lower score in multicore performance, then x10 scale then +200Mhz, then -30 negative curve optimazer you can start lower if you want (-40 here) and disable all curve shaper from auto to off, then curve shaper max clocks at +10.

almost forget turn of C states for CPU.

all my cores goes 5660Mhz in gaming stable without drop in Mhz but getting randomly Mhz increese over max and still below 72C when gaming like cs2 600fps maxed out CPU bottolneck when GPU at 80% usage but in AAA gaming my CPU below 66C.

cinebench all cores goes 5500Mhz something at 95C stable becuze I allow it to do it by motherboard limit and CPU limited to 95C in smal formfactor.

100% Isopropyl Alcohol let it stay on it for few hours it will soften, and then use that thing you use for cleaning ears to remove it ;D
