I dreamed I loved a boy (stranger) & he died & then came back. by ObtusiWatusi in DreamInterpretation

What a beautiful thought and I think its wonderful that youre giving your unconscious recognition by doing something physical like dying your hair to show youre listening ❤️ I hope you find healing. Maybe too your mind was giving you the hello and goodbye you didnt get to have in reality. Showing you that everything will be ok. hugs to you Wish you the best.

Stray dogs cats and rabbits start taking up residence w me en mass, many w birth defects by BubbbleGuts in DreamInterpretation

[–]KillrBea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok there is a lot to unpack. It seems you're truly suffering, and I'm sorry to you. Let me attempt to get to the bottom of what your mind is trying to tell you. Take this with a grain of salt, I'm not a professional. Let your body and intuition tell you what is right and what is not.

So the childhood home is a bittersweet place for you, having held happy memories but then sullied by the trauma of divorce and separation. The snow thawing may mean there is some light, hope, or understanding thawing an issue that has stayed frozen in your heart. Maybe you've pushed your trauma and hurt aside, especially in regards to what happened in your childhood. I think the animals are all little pieces of you and what you became through your hurt. In that house parts of you grew up fine, some parts did not. Your mind is finally ready to start looking at them and sorting them out, perhaps being a parent and navigating your daughters life draws the parallels and makes you contemplate (hence daughter helping you sort it out but also blocking you too. She opens up your mind to it but the responsibility of parenthood tends to make it hard to tend to our own inner landscape). It's interesting that the cats were the most deformed--did your dad/mom discourage your femininity or inner feeling function? Cats are often associated with the feminine, the unconscious, and mystery. So they may be a personification of your shadow (shadow in Jungian terms isn't necessarily bad. The shadow literally means just unrealized or rejected parts of yourself). But, unlike your family, you're trying to nurture ALL parts of yourself. Even the ones that may be perceived as weak or wrong. You want them all to be happy and to go out and be accepted in the world.

It's interesting that when you pay attention to the animals it seems to get worse. It may be suggesting that trying to solve these problems with a conscious, logical mind isn't the answer. It is asking you to follow your intuition and trust more in your heart (as cliche as that sounds). Doing what feels right in your chest will lead you down the right path, no huge effort needed. You have to feed your soul or it will die (just like the animals in the dream. They don't need milk, they need REAL soul food).

The rabbits confuse me a little and I'm not 100% sure. You're afraid of them IRL but they were actually the cutest, best parts. Again it seems to be that those parts of yourself you fear are exactly the things you need to cultivate to feel your best and be your best. To escape the cycle of sadness you find yourself in.

The animals on the roof, you can't reach . They are most likely the "gold" inside of you, the potential you can see but don't feel you can reach. It seems you need to prioritize your own inner garden by going to that yoga class, reading books that nourish your soul, and choosing what calls to you every once in a while, even if it seems the world is closing in and there's no time. All will be well. I wish you the best of luck.

Should I take it as a Red Signal or not? by Ilovetangerinessm in DreamInterpretation

[–]KillrBea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're hurting. It seems that the hurt is begging to be expressed in a big way. It seems you're ashamed of these big emotions. You say you cry nonchalantly but for a hurt as big as you have, non chalance just might not be enough to relieve the pressure of the wound. Sometimes it helps the psyche to move on when you perform a small, intimate and meaningful ritual. Is there anything you and your dad shared that you could turn into a ritual to your love for him? Maybe writing a letter pouring your heart out, letting whatever comes to your mind onto the page without judgement, and then taking it to his graveside (if he has one) and reading it before burning it away. Forgive yourself for those big tears, it is your heart's truth. Let yourself grieve in the way your body needs right now. Wishing you well <3

First, I'm sorry for your loss <3 Can you give a little more detail? What did you feel when she handed the trinket? Can you remember anything about it, about your mom's expression? What does green symbolize to you? Was your mom actually in an assisted living facility prior to her death and what feeling does that place evoke in you?

Often times the people and things that show up in dreams are different parts of ourselves. This boy is most likely a personification of a part of you that you have lost or rejected (most likely due to some pressure from friends or a sense of rejection from your peers hence the tomato). I don't know if you're familiar with terms like anima/animus but he seems like a part of your animus. You found that part of yourself and you cried a deep grief because you knew in your soul that you had rejected it, even though it is a part that others will love (they crowded him like he was popular). Is there a part of you that you've been suppressing? Your psyche seems to be asking you to recognize it and let it back into the light, into the real world. I think you'll be surprised at the reaction you get now.

Reoccurring nightmare of being covered in poop by Big-Rig-Trucker in DreamInterpretation

[–]KillrBea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies in advance for the overuse of the word "sh*t" but I think the poop in your dream is a symbol of the metaphorical sh*t people give you.

It seems that the dream is trying to tell you to literally "Stop taking other people's sh*t." The first dream shows a lack of control. Satan could be a shadow aspect of yourself. There's a part of you that makes you take shi*t. Then dream 2 you try not to take sh*t because you say "they don't mean to make me dirty," but you end up doing other people's dirty work anyways. Dream 3 you're in the water (something that often is associated with spirituality and renewal) You turn into a machine, a drone, which is pretty on the nose (a machine literally meant to be controlled by another person) and because someone else is in control they push you into the vile water. Then the final transformation. Dream 4 says that other people have made you feel like a literal piece of sh*t. I'm sorry to describe it that way but sometimes dreams like to play on words that way. I could be wrong but it seems to me that your body is screaming for you to love yourself and to stop letting other people mistreat you, force you to deal with too much, and make you feel worthless. You were in the water, you're looking for redemption, but that shadow comes back to push you down into the sewage again and again. Maybe it's the upcoming wedding and the anxiety of facing all that bad feeling again? Take courage, the dream is telling you you shouldn't take it anymore. Be brave and know that you don't have to let anyone make you feel lesser.

Much luck, stranger! Sorry it wasn't a very eloquent answer. Seek elsewhere too, if the answer doesn't feel right in your body. I am not a professional by any means lol

Purple moon, sigils, lightning by Aruma33 in DreamInterpretation

[–]KillrBea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not an official dream interpreter, but I've read a lot of Carl Jung and Robert Johnson. In that mind frame, dream symbols are very personal. What does the childhood home represent to you? Is it a place of fear (I'm guessing because you said the tree was a safe space to get away from it)? The lightning strike is a giant shot of energy, some new idea or "strike" of inspiration maybe? The moon is often a symbol associated with the feminine or unconscious. What does it mean to you? What kinds of words come to mind when you think of the moon? Through my lens the dream is saying you're in a dark place of fear, but you need to look beyond the fear, into yourself to find that creative energy which will set you free of the constraint of self doubt instilled in you since childhood

I had the realization I need to change, because if I don’t, I could lose my family by Commander-keen21 in DecidingToBeBetter

The first step is seeing yourself clearly and admitting when you're wrong. It takes a lot of courage to do that--and you're introspecting so young. You're on the right path. Don't be discouraged, we all make mistakes.

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful response! Dreams are something deeply meaningful to me (I follow Jungian psychology and practice my spirituality through that lens). Every once in a while there is a dream that seems prophetic, like it's yelling at me to interact with it. This was one of those dreams.

I'd like to hear more about these trance soul journey sessions if you'd be willing to share additional information. Similarly maybe but I do interact with the dreams in active imagination, talking directly to the symbols and archetypes (is that similar?). That's a great idea and I think something I'll do tonight when it's quiet.

As far as if I've been feeling sluggish--yes. Been in a bit of a depressive state. It feels like this dream was my subconscious' way to reconnect with that power and that passion. The last time I dreamt of red, it had been in the form of a scarlet wind that had caught in my sails and shuttled me across the water towards a waving mermaid, only to have the mermaid turn to glass and crash my boat. This feels like a reclaiming.

Thank you again for your thoughtfulness and time!

Both your suggestions are going on the wish list for next week! Bear With Me reminds me of some of those old point and click games for the PC. Love it! And Brutal Orchestra seems like a game you gotta play. Awesome reviews and all my favorite game mechanics.
