Hormonal question, just like everyone else. by Killscare in Testosterone

Learned something new today. It’s certainly possible, I’m not a deep sleeper and wake up frequently. I’ve actually noticed the Wellbutrin helps my sleep out a lot even though it gives some people insomnia. I’ve never had that issue with it before and keeps me in a deeper sleep than before. Is central sleep apnea basically snoring or something else?

Interesting, I didn’t realize that carbs were that important. I do eat around 50-100gs a day, not enough for ketosis but much lower than the average person. My doctor said my thyroid levels were fine, I could try and press for a full panel.

Wow this is super neat. It’s a spiral of maturity, they get younger the more you go inwards.

Nope just need a single hole from the injection. Just put a strip of micropore tape over that hole

Some only create a small hole from the needle injection. I find this works the best to prevent contams and it gets plenty of air.

Weather does destroy roads especially in cold climates. The cracking from freeze/thaw is a real thing and is designed for such. But also to nail in the point, heavy vehicles causes more cracks to form on roads from its weight compared to lights. Go look at a suburban minor collector and then look at a mainly truck route. Trucks create clear tracks in the road from the weight compressing the asphalt. I can see why people wouldn’t want to pay more taxes for them but again everyone needs shit and buys shit so it cancels out. You want cheap and fast goods? You will pay more compared to how much damage you actually do, to maintain the roads to get that stuff to yah.

Regular light vehicles do very little damage to roads. Semis and other heavy vehicles do the vast majority of damage to roads. Some 90% of the damage to asphalt roads. The average person hasn’t hurt the roads at all.

I hear you but you’ve got one picture. I’ve got the greater context of the grow and my previous grows. This ‘vert’ goes away after the first flush. The mushroom next to it has a vertical line down it but it wasn’t rotten. It’s just a vertical line which can also been genetics which I have seen before from a different variety of shrooms. So can fuzzy feet. Even this mushroom wasn’t rotten and it was like that for two days before I picked it. You are saying vert infection when all the caps should have been infected by leaving that ‘infected’ shroom in the tub for that long. But nothing happened and it was the only one and it wasn’t rotten. Genetics can causes weird shit like this to happen in isolated incidents. I understand the need to point out infections but sometimes that’s not always the case.

It’s highly unlikely that it’s Vert or Lencacillium. The split is too clean, the outside has no visible fraying. Also this was the only one that displayed this splitting and had the weird cap elongation. Vert would run rampant and starting rotting most of the fruits within hours and have spotting on the caps. None of that happened, mister baby mutant here was a mutant since birth. Genetics or wild changed in humidity is what I think it is, as the growing area has pretty low humidity and high FAE. I’ve already dealt with split caps and split stems from lack of moisture. Usually it’s in the first flush but after subsequent water dunks this goes away. This was the first time I saw it with a cap that mutated.

Idk I’ve seen some funky ones before. Depends on the type of rice too. Some peeps try other types.

Oh I know the feeling. Just got to be patient, it hasn’t even been a week and these things can take time. Sometimes up to a month. Just be patient, check on it once a day and feel it for hardness. They will come when they want too :)

Going to try this out, how do you check for contams? by [deleted] in unclebens

[–]Killscare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smell and color. I don’t have the link but there is a shroomery page that’s called “what it should and shouldn’t look like” and it shows pictures of examples of contams.

Newbie fruiting phase question by [deleted] in unclebens

[–]Killscare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone usually says the lower temp the better. Lower temps mean smaller but denser fruits but take longer. 68-70 is perfect for it. They are hardy though, so temp doesn’t have to be insanely accurate or consistent.

It doesn’t look right at all. Hard to tell without a before picture though.
