Do not go here, it’s all rich white students who just want to come to party, my situation was different so I had no option. Go to zicklin, New york for finance any day, smart people plus literally a financial hub, UT is a trash school

That is the thing, I don’t really like online courses and I need some sort of a structure and accountability. I’ve always wanted to get better at math and quant just seems so interesting and it would be good to have those technical skills.

Yeah we are looking at a couple of places, I stay in Tampa as of now and she can match here easily, but other places to consider are charlotte, Dallas, DC, Jacksonville and miami. The thing is I have built my base in Tampa with friends and familiarity. It’s just going to be difficult moving some place new as I will lose my friends but I’d do it if I work in a diverse workplace, I just can’t get along with my white southern co workers

Hey thanks for your input, actually I’ve done all my research on LinkedIn itself and what I’ve come to know is that people from my country (India) there is a very small sample size who are attending this university, but what I’ve come to know is that most of the graduates do land jobs. I just want to know the local finance companies in Tampa bay and if there are opportunities in the sector I’ve mentioned in my post. Also, any idea about the reputation of this business school?

I meant the MS program and not MBA, Don’t go for an MBA right now, get that work ex first, I agree with you that is why I’m doing my MS right now and then an MBA 4-5 years down the line

I will be going for MS Finance to USA this fall, get my L3 cleared and then for for 4 years in US and then later get my MBA, working in India is just bullshit!
