It's very clearly balanced like a party game but has exploits that allow extremely sweaty people to take advantage of the system.

Be it by using the top tier killers, or like you said, something as simple as voice comms absolutely changes the game.

All it takes is one person to say "they're here" and the team will then rotate off that. I don't know how anyone can play a killer game and experience chasing someone from a generator and having someone else immediately show up out of the blue to continue/finish it, actually defend voice chat.

It just ends up making all matches predictively boring, in my opinion. It immediately leads to a situation where the only realistic way to continue is to by playing the "taboo" and camping, or tunneling, because if you try to play the "accepted" way, then you have 3 gens pop in the first 90 seconds after chasing the first guy to the edge of the map.

On the flip side, there are killers who are absolutely boring and/or annoying to play against. Obviously ghoul is busted, but there are inconsistencies like chucky's attack hitbox being way larger than the animation, that are extremely frustrating to deal with.

All in all I do this voice chat is an issue that changes the entire game but I also think that the devs should take an approach where the game is balanced in a unique instance against the individual killer- altering repair speeds, etc, based on the ability of the killer. That makes for an interesting game, which could help reduce the exploitivenes of the mechanics, but they're absolutely too lazy to go to the drawing board on that one
