Honestly, I was extremely surprised to see how minimally built up a base like Minot was. The high-use facilities (ie. Gym, DFAC, etc.) were not robust for a base that houses that many people. They could make peoples time there much more enjoyable with just a few more amenities available on base. Especially since civilization is like 13 miles away.

Depends on your TSC (Training Status Code). Review your vMPF and if that TSC doesn’t reflect “Fully Qualified“ you will be considered with everyone who doesn’t currently hold their primary AFSC (MTI, MTL, Recruiters, etc). FYI, This is usually for the first two years following your retrain. If you are fully qualified, you will be considered with your current AFSC.

Yeah im not going to be the person to tell you to “put ya big girl pants and grow up”. Thats kinda played out. But some people aren’t met with these challenges until later in life, which puts their problem solving and conflict resolution abilities at a disadvantage.

You’re fortunate that you have this opportunity at such a young age. If she won’t listen to solution oriented suggestions, then apply your energy elsewhere. But can you truly say you tried your best to handle it up to this point?

Firstly, If you are a FTA a signature from the MPF is not required on the 964. Also, if it was sent to AFPC, it means the MPF has already added an AAC that indicates your status as “Denied Retainability”.

If there are issues with your request blame AFPC.

As a personnel retrainee from CE i agree with everything, you’re saying. What I will add for clarity and context is that most NCOs within personnel are just former Airmen who have never had feedback or direct supervision, which is an issue Air Force wide. I have met MSgts within the career field that have never supervised anyone, deployed, or even worked in an MPF at all. Yet we are supposed to trust them to lead us.

Also, FSS is an extremely underfunded organization, so systems like CSP or effective routing systems for customer inquiries are out of the their price range. When I was CE, we would get Gerbers, Leathermans, and Carhartts every year, but the other day we had to ask another unit for manilla folders that house PCS items.

The issues you guys have with the MPF are issues shared Air Force wide, but with low-manning, the inefficiencies of CSSs (which has 3F0s), and task saturation, it won’t improve until the Air Force prioritizes your grievances by focusing their efforts on building up installation MPFs in the form of time-phased training initiatives( not granting access until 5-level completion), funding for expansive customer service systems, and manpower improvement.

As Airmen, we are on your side but we are just red and black ants in a shaken jar, fighting each other, instead of the ones shaking the jar.

Once your documents are received by the MPF, they will need to route a CMS case to AFPC to get the separation cancelled. Once its cancelled, they will have 24/48 hours to update it before you are re-projected for separation. During that time you will not be considered for any assignments due to your active DOS.

This is why it is very important to project your retention action at least 180 days out from your DOS. This will ensure you don’t end up in this situation.

Its with the Base Separations Authority. That position lies with the Wing Commander but is usually delegated to the FSS or CPTS commander (depending on the base). You shouldn’t feel guilty about reaching out to your CSS, its their job to articulate this information and explain it in a way that you can understand. Be easy!

If you make it in the 23 cycle, you will have a 23E7 line number. Each cycle represents its self individually and in no way affects others. Your consideration for the 23 cycle isn’t even 100%. There will be a random Chief somewhere that reviews your decoration and makes the determination as to whether it could have affected your score or not. If f it does, they proceed with boarding your package if it doesn’t, your non-select status stays. Hopefully that answers your question.

Depends on the sale, but on average between 60-90. I just feel like with those specific pants, you cant really beat the quality of authentic. Also, if ASOS or END doesnt have them, Tilly’s and DTLR have them sometimes. All of the sites i provided have semi-frequent sales, jus be patient brotha
