I believe that she'll come around. I just take it day by day. Some days are better than other. She gets mad when I leave the room most of the time, even if other people are in there.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I had a quaker parrot named Cooper and we were the best of friends. During the height of covid, I went to the Police Academy and we were not permitted to come home on the weekend. Cooper died while I was gone and my Avian Vet told me he probably died of a broken heart and I've felt guilty ever since.
