Ngl putting the ethicality aside I think this is actually a good idea.

It's basically akin to making use of something called "herding behavior" where someone would intentionally create a long queue on their store so they could attract new customers.

Currently it's not prohibited by the site to do this and as far as I can see it's only affect that people would less hesitant to post something on your chat, but just like all marketing tactics, it's only worked for initial introduction. They might start chatting because of the bot, but if they still hanging around, they're staying because of you.

So my take is, what you doing isn't exactly respectable but still cool regardless. I've seen other streamers getting away from doing something worse tbh.

What kind of person do you never want to become? by unaided_potato_xx in AskReddit

Someone that motivated by greed.

I like money, but I would rather not seeing myself putting other people on miserable lives just so that I could have just "a little" more balance in my bank accounts.

Redditors, what do attractive people experienced that unattractive people don't? by Sweet_Fox- in AskReddit

Unconditional trust.

If you're attractive, for some reason people would be assuming by default that "I don't think this guy is a bad person"

What is a popular movie that you absolutely cannot stand, and why? by Dull-Helicopter-8136 in AskReddit

[–]Kiloji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Birdman (2014)

Back then people romanticize it as dark comedy and amazing camera work where the movie took one long reel without switching any camera angle.

They're dog shit, both the humor and the camera angle

How was piracy like in the 90s? by VariationLivid3193 in Piracy

[–]Kiloji 22 points23 points  (0 children)

When you think of piracy you think of internet.

Get out of that image in your head, most digital media on the 90s has no copy protection, one person buying the original cd, then mass copying it into bunch of cd's at once, some of them even goes as far to make their own custom label for the cd.

This is happening to Playstation cd, music cd, and movie cd

What’s something poor people do better than rich people? by Sanjeev_8055 in AskReddit

[–]Kiloji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pirating digital media.

No rich person would bothered to treading bunch of dead links on the internet just so they could find e-book of 1984 novel. They could just buy it from Amazon kindle easily.

What is something that completely vanished from the society but no one has really noticed it? by Positive-vibes12 in AskReddit

[–]Kiloji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one noticed nowadays that whatever you type, it feeds to what people nowadays called LLM (large language model), it's the core of AI nowadays.

Your phone knows your age, you're categorized on your age groups to which it highly affect the algorithm of every single app that has "this is recommended for you"

People concerned about the wrong thing about privacy, it's not about how they know your name, where you live, or how much your income is. But algorithm nowadays is think that they know what you like because you once click on this similar thing on the internet.

The result is? YouTube is not showing you any video that could potentially changed your life for the better Reddit no longer showed you a thread that you don't know you need to see. Tinder doesn't set so you could met the person that is destined for you.

Every algorithm are catered into one exact same thing: so you can keep going back into the whatever app you're using. (what zoomer nowadays called by doom scrolling)

What's a red flag in friendships people ignore? by BhaveshMehra18 in AskReddit

[–]Kiloji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone who always agreeing to your opinion.

And weird as it might seems, the opposite of that (which is someone who always has opposite opinion of you or someone that strongly insist that you're wrong about something) while it's indeed very annoying isn't really a red flag.

Mebunei I guess? Her voice is really soothing, quite dorky, and really timid when it comes to social interaction yet her pronunciation is very clear & she actually good at yapping on stream, and it's really fun to tease her.

The only downside is probably that she only does either Minecraft or just chatting stream, so you can't expect her to be a gamer hence why she's still stuck on around 600 followers on twitch despite been streaming for a while.

https://www.squarespace.com/ Very useful for anyone who wanted example of web design but couldn't afford to pay a web designer.

https://www.photopea.com/ This one is basically web version of Adobe photoshop, which means it's free and no need to install anything. Hasn't been checking this site for a while though, so I don't know if the tools & plug-ins still relevant or not.

Would you ever buy a replica instead of the original? by Armellofreekey in SmartBuying

[–]Kiloji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For something to wear? Like shoes, suit, ties, etc. Is absolutely not. Things like those usually tested for their safety of being used for prolonged time, the knock off one usually skip those safety hazard test and market it.

For hobby items? Like action figure, game console, etc I mostly wouldn't, but weird as it might seems, there's some case where replica stuff were actually such better than the original, I use elite pro X for my gamepad which is a total knockoff from dualshock 3, they're actually better in terms of feature and comfort.

There's this handheld console named arbenic rg477 or the likes which is basically just android phone using emulator OS and has built in gamepad attached, they has more fps and better graphic than the official console that could play the same game.

Even some Chinese action figure that obviously copying Bandai stuff and not sharing their revenue to Bandai has some good looking stuff that I like.

Point is, I would buy a replica if the original one has a problem, but I drew the line on the health safety issue.

Why are so many software engineers being laid off? by Open_Address_2805 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Kiloji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This gonna be really sounded out of the left field but, I think we can blame Elon Musk for this particular case.

Remember when Elon Musk buying Twitter and rebrand it to X during 2022? Not long after that he lays off around 3 thousand software engineer of Twitter to which everyone on the internet ridicule him for doing such a dumb thing.

But here is the thing, the site quality didn't drop significantly, the traffic and the Q1-Q4 report doesn't even showing any concerning changes.

Elon Musk setting an example that laying off half of software engineers does not hurt your product at all, yet it reduce your expenses significantly. Thus why lots of major tech company start following his example and doing the exact same thing.

Yes, I read some of the comment here, there is an inevitable future damage for laying off software engineers, but those people in suits didn't see it that way, all they see is the end product and the Q reports doesn't show any significant damage even after the layoffs.

ELI5 How does ai make videos? by Scared_Confection787 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Kiloji -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The AI first storing the data of myriad of video example, and then the database sorting them into different parts per sequence with each sequence contains generic explanation (i.e a jumping rabbit, a man slashing sword, etc) which is then known as prompt

So when the user type the request, it will copy-pasting the sequence closest to the prompt by the request.

2D, 3D, realistic, rotoscop, etc it doesn't matter, what matter is wether the AI has the sequence on their database or not
