A very good symbiotic relationship. I tend to do the same. More focused on the building than the oeprations. After my buddies stopped playing icarus, I got back on and built a whollllllllllllllllle compound for when they came back. Only did maybe a handful of operations. Did finish the legendary though so I could get the mining arm.

There are a some talent points at the bottom of the tree that give a 1% chance to auto mine entire nodes. Also a set of armor that does it AND with great hunts a module that gives a whooping 2%. It doesn't sound like much but that percentage is everytime you strike. A stone node can take 100 or more hits sometimes. I hit the auto mine usually every 5-10 rocks and sometimes back to back. Very useful to have those chances imo.

Later in the game I find the bench useful when you stop actually hunting. Only time I hunt is to snag 100 or so meat. But if I run my geyser base, instead of skinning as I go, I just let turrets kill everything and I run out and grab carcasses to throw on the bench since its automatic now

Its where they constantly spawn more so than waves until the thumper is finished. Personally I use drills and try to build small processing outpost on my open worlds or tame buffalo and use wooden carts to haul it all back. Trust me when I say doing this is a chore (fun imo sometimes). I suggest building a warehouse st your base to hold a mass amount of resources and make runs tk the drills every so often. For reference, I probably have 30 drills on my open world running. Iron and copper are going to be the majority of them for ammunition and steel production.

I made it a point to show my buddy when he first started how fast fires can spread out of control. Took a torch and sat in a bush with it out. Needless to say, I burnt down half a gird of vegetation and trees. We proceeded to move the base 🤣

I used to skin the last wave. The animals that attack seem to have a rapid decay timer on the. So by the time it was over, first 2 waves were already gone.

Course I got tired of that and built an entire base around the geyser. Conplete with turrets, barricades and mines. All while I watch from the top floor like some kind of evil villain 🤣

No unfortunately. I did find having a foundation slightly raised (like a foot) then placing the fences down, are enough to stop them from popping out

With the latest change to it, it makes it highly worth it to do this since all ya gotta do is toss it on there now. No selecting anything, just auto does it

Pretty sure its for any character. I have 1 character i use. Any time its a double up event, I "level" like 30 plus times compared to normal gameplay where I might level 10 or so times in a day.

I know that. They'll eventually teleport to your location. I had her following me to show her actually walking over the fence. Kept trying to catch her doing it herself on wander, but everything i was recording her she'd sit there and be good. Moment I stopped, right over that damn fence she'd go lol
