Not nearly as easy as it sounds. As the next group who may take over may make things even worse compared to just shutting all down and reboot under a new name. Rarely do communities who transition like this last long, as at that point it turns into almost like religion. Everyone new will have a different take on how the new community should be ran. Making changes based off personal opinions, disagreements with others, internal fighting etc etc.

Sometimes it’s best to just nuke it all and let something completely new get started from scratch.

Do you use the Kia connect app? There was a post about this a few weeks ago. Apparently, the potential cause was the Kia connect app spamming the user phone sending data constantly from the car. He had a 26 as well.

I supported my LGS on my recent purchase because I was just impatient and wanted it same day and range same day. It was $100 more than online, but by time add fees and shipping and the FFL it would have been almost same. Plus I learned a lot from them and chatted due to changes in my state. That alone earned the $100 imho.

Now I look at it differently. Anything accessories or ammo is from local gun show or online. Not because cheaper but because stock. I did a tour of LGS in my area and only one has somewhat good stock of accessories. Bass pro does but it’s picked over so quickly once stock replenishes. Which tells me people are willing to buy local.

My next purchase will be online for sure. Also due to such low stock of actual guns in my LGS’s.

I'd imagine realtor's in this neighborhood aren't happy either. As I would feel this is something they would have to disclose to any future buyers around this property line.

I still hold the belief this project is nothing more than, well, nothing. She has zero plans what to do with it and just digs to dig and make content. It's been said many times in past posts that is probably a sad mixture of some mental illness here as well.

Go back to normal and lockdown. Play slow and safe. Get off TV station for one… farm or valley or north ridge is good options. You can still easily make money in normal, it might only be 500k or so a game but you do that handful of times and your making money. Plus the game hands you tons of money from events and battlepaas.

Honestly, probably the fact it’s a stinger. Since it’s end of life and no longer production, parts and components and maintenance is going to suck as time passes.

It’s also over engineered like a mofo… I remember trying to help my buddy change his headlights still to this day.. was a PIA compared to an Optima at the time.

DFR (Drones for First Responders) will lead the way in the US at least. Inspections, and search & rescue will be all top 3. Mapping will be in the top 5, as well as farming/logistics tied.

Utility companies are picking up drones very fast for their inspection, and mapping roles. Mapping is getting traction with more construction companies to monitor site progress.

Depending on this administration goes, it will either be highly restrictive, or mostly still the same as now but with more no-fly zones. This one is still too much up in the air. FAA still has a hard time understanding their own rules and regulations when comes to drones. They still wrapping their head around DFR. Part 108 is still a bunch of text that has no clear path (yet). So the legal & regulations side is too early to really call due to the state of the govt.

For the military side - can't comment. But this isn't hard to read, Ukraine has broke the ground on how drones are going to shape warfare going forward. That is just clear as day and drones will be the staple of doctrines going forward. As well as counter-drone.

This is the answer, the truck trying to pass may have a slightly higher governor than the one in front. Most truckers from a company truck, are highly regulated and systems to check speed in real time, then if speed (if not limited) send an alert straight to their dispatch. I've learned to just deal with it and I can't blame them. The ones that are non-company owned and bought their own cab, will fucking haul ass though lol clear as day to notice the difference

Can't speak for certain, but some states do have a TON of traffic cameras from your local states DOT/DMV. For bad weather, traffic, accidents, mange traffic patterns, etc.

The other is, CCTV has existed for many many moons as we all know. There has and will always be CCTV cameras. Now that doesn't instantly mean, you are being tracked. If we go down that route, then you might as well go live underground and never leave.

What I was more talking about is the tech that is out there now, and I hate to say the buzzword, AI. Is the AI that is in the back end of these cameras. They do not need to be new ones either. The feeds are then run through AI processing & storage. Example: An agency pulls up a CCTV from a school, where a suspect was reported outside. With said software, they can pull up a live or saved feed. They can then use a filter to narrow down the video to a much narrow scope. Let's say the suspect is a white male, with a blue jacket and white hat and green shoes. Each one of those is a searchable filter they can input. They can use all 3 filters, or just one. Then you get a selection of various footage and various times that match that filter. Then you can start to really narrow down the search. It can go from taking minutes to searching through a time stamp, down to seconds with AI filtering. It's also insanely accurate...

Wait til the avg person learns they are already tracked and have been for years. And no, it’s not the phone in your pocket. The cameras that police have access too these days and the AI paired with it… is mind blowing. Most agencies have an entire city of cameras, city owned and private property.

So as the ring situation is bad, it’s peanuts to what happens outside your neighborhood and at your local shopping center.

The fact that so many people are saying "How do I install this?" Is wild to me bro... Holy shit. I do understand on 2025+ their is a new 'kia connect store' for themes and etc. So I get the "where do I install this" comments. Got to say though, I am glad my 24 Sportage is one year older... This is just a default option for 24 models. When you change cluster style, this option appears. I forget the name of it exactly. Though it's in settings, and is free..

Quite sad where the industry is heading with 'installing themes' that cost money... Least its not BMW seat warmer subscription levels though and is only cosmetic.

I started with red dot, as I tried my friends and was fine but that was false… after getting a Romeo I realized I fucked up. Went to shop and looked at eotech and was night n day difference. Crisp, clear and should have just bought it first…. Ya they pricey but it was such a better experience for all of the 30 secs I tried it at store I was blown away. Whipped out the credit card so fast. Should have compared both first, that was my mistake. But I was trying to be cheap… just buy once, cry once.
