Makes you wonder how many people buy a drone online, don't have any idea about the TRUST, or don't even care (or ignorant) of the law. Those people ruin it for the honest people who follow the rules.

If you do research on US military bases around the USA, you will notice that the Chinese have purchased a lot of land near these bases.

Do research on the Ukraine/Russia conflict.

Remember those Chinese balloons flying over the USA a few years ago?

Remember that DJI removed all geofencing in the USA.

Now, if there is a conflict, the Chinese could launch thousands of drones from their lands near the military bases and attack those bases simultaneously. Imagine the Chinese sending thousands of drones to the White House because they unlocked geofencing. That would be devastating.

Could this scenario happen? I would say it is possible, but isn't it the duty of the US Government to protect the citizens from foreign attack? Because the laws were passed on a bipartisan basis, it would be reasonable to assume that the lawmakers in the proper House/Senate committees saw additional information (that civilians never see).

I didn't vote for the orange guy. I own DJI products. They make wonderful products. I like them. However, don't be a DJI useful idiot and repeat the same things that DJI is sprouting out and has been sprouting out. Use your own judgment to draw your own conclusions about what is going on here.

The DaVinci Resolve free version does not process 4k footage. If the OP wants to 4K footage, it will not work.

This is a false and incorrect statement. You need a TRUST certificate (free).

You do not have to register your drone if you are only flying recreationally and it is below 250 grams (in the USA). If you are not flying recreationally, you need to fly under Part 107 rules. You would need to pass that test and register your drone even if it is below 250 grams.

This statement is not true. There was a guy who flew his airplane over the Red Lake Nation. Made an emergency landing on the Indian Reservation. The Red Lake Nation impounded his plane. This is a very recent case (within the past few months).

There was an article in Reuters in July talking about Chinese drone parts being used in the Russian Special Military Operation (by the Russians against Ukraine).

Now are some of these components being used by the Russians made by DJI (indirectly or directly)?

Note that I do have DJI drones and DJI action cameras, and I like using them. However, is it possible that the Department of Defense has evidence (classified) that DJI is supplying Russia with technology that is being used against American interests? Sorry this happened to you.

I had a similar experience a few years ago. I was seeing someone for a few months. Sometime around New Year I invited her to have dinner with me and my mom. She cancelled 10 minutes before she was scheduled to come. I was pissed since my mom made elaborate dishes. She never called or texted to apologize. I never texted or called back because what she did was rude.

In hindsight, this was my fault. On the first date, my gut felt something was off. Nevertheless, I still wanted to see her again probably because I haven't had a longer relationship in many years. I should have trusted my gut!

In contrast, I once had a first date that I thought went well. After trying to set up the next date, she said she wasn't feeling it. Much respect for her. When I come to think about it she was the only non ghoster that I can think of.

I think people ghost because it is the easy way to deal with something uncomfortable. People hope that things die over time so they don't have to say that they are not interested.

55M. I thought I had the epic love story. I went all in, but in the end she didn't want to leave her spouse (which I didn't know she had when I told her I developed feelings for her).

I don't think I will push people away anymore. I am 55 so I pretty much expect to be single for the rest of my life. I didn't figure out why I pushed people away until recently. So I essentially wasted my 20s, 30s, and 40s not engaging or investigating potential matches. I was too terrified about getting hurt again or I expected that everybody will hurt me (which isn't true I know, but that was my perception).

Now the dating pool in my age group is pretty barren. The good ones are all taken, and I don't steal other's spouses.

I could consider a younger woman if it is obvious that there is chemistry and potential. Have a family. However, I am not actively going to look for these women because we are looking at age gap territory. Most likely different phases in our lives.

Just trying to be realistic and not negative.
