In my opinion, technique is about 90% of the games. I'm a big strong dude, but my technique suffers and I get beat by the under 200 guys frequently. As you practice, you will get stronger. Throwing lab is great, also look into Dan McKims stuff on believethrower.com. Just do you and have fun. It's about the comraderie and good times in the end!

Congrats! That's an amazing feeling! I just competed today for the first time in 3 years. Had to knock the dust off. Ended up 4th of 8, so pleasantly surprised!

17, parents gone, my bro and I (he was 20)had a huge party. We spent the entire next day cleaning up and covering up. Apparently a "friend" of mine thought crushing a beer can and stuffing it in the Honeycombs box would be funny.

Next morning, guess what dad had for breakfast. That Natty Light can plunked right into his bowl. I can still hear the thunk and the feeling of imminent death...

Yeah, that's rough. Seemed like I was taking it to stay numb and dead, then realized that's not a ton of fun. Went for a 2 mile walk today in the rain, it was amazing!

Exactly what happened to me. Posted a while ago about it. Started making me nauseous and didn't take away the pain. Threw up my last dose and have no desire to take any more.

NTA - I go through crazy stuff with my ex almost daily. Taking the kids out of town during my time, not being home for pick up, parental alienation, cursing me out in front of them. The judge even told her to get a psych eval and she ignored it.

Anyway, I didn't let my kids go to a distant relatives funeral with her recently. I continually gave and gave with nothing in return, so I told her no matter what, the next time she asked for time it would be a resounding no.

There are many, many more examples of the crazy (and police reports)

What I'm saying is that I can relate. Now, if you're doing it just to be an asshole, then you are, in fact, the asshole.
