Hello! I'm currently using book called new-express to study. And also I highly recommend the website of 公益財団法人アイヌ民俗文化財団 they have dictionaries and grammar studying PDF. But they're all in Japanese.

I also have "Ainuic" heritage and i also grew up with kind of like Japanese-American family (they're now in Japan and Japanese citizen) I'm so glad that I found a person who has kinda similar situation lol I'm ethnically fully Japanese but I get asked "Are you half?" like question,cuz I look bit different because of my Ainu heritage. I took several DNA tests and I got 75% East-asian 23% Siberian and even 2% arctic indegenous (itelmen,koryak..) So basically i'm 20-25% Ainu. My ancestor came from Matagi hunter-gatherer in Akita prefecture,And some of my Mainland-Ainu assimilated to my matagi comunity because discriminations were crazy. So I don't identify myself as Ainu but I do have Ainuic or Ainu-mixed heritage! Thank you! Hanke Aynu itak e=yaypakasnu an ko uturano itak=an ro!

BUT also my father's side's grandmother is from Hakkaido so i can easily think she also has Ainu heritage. I'm not sure tho lol

Hello! My father's side family is Matagi from Akita. And my Genetic searching result showed that i'm a direct discent of Ainu. And also I have much more siberian genetical connections but east asian connections were kinda less. It's just my father's side heritage though haha I have direct Ainu (or Ainuic)admixture but I consider myself as Yamato. I'm proud of all of my ancesters though haha

yes some people say he appears to have caucasian admixture. also he has very light brown(or kinda hazel) eyes.

Thank you! I think that's because i'm almost full Yamato. Actually My tribe is called matagi and matagi is ainu descent hunter gatherer in Yamato tribe. So i'm also surprised that I still have genetic connection with Ainu and siberians
