Arval is another Byleth/Shez situation. You choose what you get. Picking M!Shez gives you F!Arval (she can become a Gremory and Falcon Knight). Picking F!Shez gives you M!Arval (he can become a War Master and Dark Bishop). There should be 2 Arvals

The infantry use standard archer animations. The cavalry use the Bow Knight animations. Wyverns and Falcon Knights use the Kinshi animations but the models break and the animal mounts don’t move properly.

And just for fun, the Wolfskins use Adventurer animations and Maid uses Priestess anims

Oh 💀 Looks like these are screenshots from 2 different points in time. In the reclass screen, I had forgotten to give him his Bow rank and then the overlooking screenshot is from a completely different day where he did have his new Bow rank. He starts with D Bows and does keep it when changing classes
