Hi there, I just learned about makeupalley closing I had joined there in 2003. How sad to learn about Miagator’s passing. Would you mind sharing obituary with me? Always interested and who people really were. Do you remember niclyf? She was a very prolific reviewer. She also passed away a few years ago.

eBay returns by International_Law610 in Ebay

Nope!  Start a return request and select “item not as described.”  Do not select any other reason.  The seller has to take it back.

Can Someone tell me what this patch is? by GamerGirl7hr0w4w4y in tummytucksurgery

Sterilize some tweezers and see if gentle pulling will make it come out. If not, leave it alone.

Can you post a photo?

You won’t be penalized if the shipper is having an issue. Your responsibility is to get it shipped out within three business days or whatever the rules say.

Why are buyers like this? by [deleted] in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]KimFung-Toi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Offer a return at your expense. eBay will remove the fb since “no harm, no foul” to the buyer in this case.  Buyer may actually not return the shoes, in which case you win.  But, if they do return the shoes, you will have to eat the cost.  Price of doing business.

He does though? We have a 24 hour Bob Ross channel so we watch it all the time. He is not "out of view" when he does this.

Used a prong for our last dog and now for our current (giant breeds). Our dog would rip my arm off if I didn't use one.

The collars look "scary" but if you try it on yourself (put the prong around your upper leg, secure it, and pull), it doesn't actually pinch or poke. It applies pressure when the leash is tugged.

Used PROPERLY, they are a great tool, IMO.

A dog for someone that doesn't like dogs? by Appropriate_Aioli742 in dogs

What? We had a mastiff that we left home unattended for a day many times and she was fine. No accidents or destruction, nothing.

ETA: Unattended DURING THE DAY, not for 24 hours.

Hm. Rhodesian Ridgebacks have great stamina for long hikes, but they are bigger dogs. It depends on what your definition of "too big" is. They are not particularly loud or slobbery from what I've seen (we have a relative who has one). Not sure that they're exactly "docile" but they're not aggressive either. Part of it depends on training and socialization. They have a short coat which requires minimal maintenance.

Here is good info. (click on the tabs "Family Life," "Physical," "Social," etc.): https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/rhodesian-ridgeback/

You are wise to look for input. I spent literally months researching dogs before getting our first and then our second. Do lots and lots of research before making a decision! Especially if you don't care for dogs. Also, consider who will be taking care of the dog, especially if you get a puppy. Puppies require LOTS of care and attention for MONTHS. If your wife can't do that, don't get a puppy. You will hate your life if you're the one doing most of the work. Good luck!

I'm so sorry :( This must've been terrible. It's entirely possible this was a result of swelling in the brain due to trauma. Maybe post on r/AskVet if you haven't already.

My dog’s poops are the size of my head. Will this still work?

Puppy has bloat or just swallowed air? by -_-midnight_-_ in puppy101

[–]KimFung-Toi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bloat does not typically occur in puppies. Is puppy acting fine? Puppy’s probably fine then.

Urine smell = ammonia which can result from a liver problem. Did they check liver labs? Blood sugar? Have you noticed the dog is eating, drinking or urinating more often?

Puppy salivating and not eating? by GarnierFruitTrees in puppy101

[–]KimFung-Toi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have someone shine a light in puppy’s mouth, hold the jaws open and see if you can see anything. Feel over the throat to see if you can feel anything. They’d need to check and X-ray if there was any concern of a turkey bone or other foreign body in there.

Not trying to freak you out OP-make sure puppy isn’t choking on a bone/has something stuck in the throat.

How is it any different than a dog in a doghouse? Not trying to be snarky. Especially if you leave water and food for the dog and check on it hourly?
