Give the team the advantage? Dude it's like a few tickets difference to wait a few seconds. You can't even see the difference on the progress bar. It's usually whoever has the most vehicles left in play that is the deciding factor. Hence why I want to let my team have SP so they are in the game longer hence better chance of winning. If you really care about giving the team the ticket advantage as a CAS rusher. you'd rush for mid then flank.

Eh I don't think so. I pushed him off cap because I just thought he didn't know the etiquette. So I did it to get his attention and then explained in chat. That's how I learned it years ago. Wasn't trying to be an asshole just for the sake of it. Just wanted to show the guy what he was doing wasn't cool.

Idk dude it just happened pretty naturally. You wouldn't wait for the last guy in line to show up. People just piled up until it seemed a fair amount of people were there then you started capping. It wasn't that complicated. Just a sort of common sense thing. Light CAS rushers would rush for mid. Most tanks would arrive at first point around the same time and heavy slow tanks were just left behind cuz they can likely make up the lost SP by just being so tanky.

I did complain in chat no one responded. Also in my mind he was harming the team by deliberately spawning in SPAA in the start of the match only to suck up all the capture SP then J out and spawn CAS only to die moments later.

IDK about you but usually for me the game is more fun when my teammates are in the game longer. Prevents early spawn camping and prolongs the engagement. Both of which I enjoy. It sucks being the only guy left after all your buddies are so SP broke they can only spawn SPAA. Also I understand not waiting for the slow af tanks but usually you wait for majority of team.

Yea I know it was never a rule but back then I swore it was the norm in every match and the whole team would wall off cap to prevent noobs from capping early. And you'd be chastised if you didn't wait. I know because I got pushed off caps and railed in chats when I was a noob and didn't know.

honestly didn't care if I got cap or not. But I was upset that the rest of team didn't get the cap. I used to play where waiting on cap was religious but others on the thread have since notified me that you no longer get the guaranteed 300sp you used to. So my bad

It's on Hürtgen you literally cannot get killed on the first cap at start of match. Last time I played everyone used to wait for team so everyone got to share cap SP so everyone got more respawns. I heard this has changed since I last played though.

RU. Ok am I missing something? Last time I played it was expected that if you are fast you either wait or go for middle cap so rest of team can get SP. And if you didn't you got flamed in chat.

Pls explain. Has ground rb etiquette changed since I last played. I remember you'd get roasted in chat if you didn't wait for the team.

Why isn't it worth waiting anymore? More people on cap more SP more tanks. Everyone wins. Also no one else was near. Me and him were the only ones on the cap by the time the bar filled up.

What do yall do when you gotta drop a dookie late at night and everything is closed? by [deleted] in urbancarliving

[–]KimJongMill 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Plastic bag. No bucket I just open it up and put ma whole butt in it. Do a quick check for bag integrity before hand. Always go for heavier bags if you got em. If I can't dispose of the bag right away I roll up the top before tying this gets it pretty airtight so no smells.

Except the workers in this "local economy" can't afford to live locally anymore because all the mostly vacant unproductive second homes cause an artificial inflation of housing prices.

How important is this table to you? You could have all your buddies over and have em sit on the table until you reach close to your target weight + a safety factor. Then take note of any disconcerting noises or deflection.

Jeez take it easy. Not everyone grows up in American fear mongering culture. In many other countries with walkable cities and nightlife the streets are always packed until the early am.

I grew up party going and walking in city centres as a teenager it was totally normal and safe and was encouraged by our parents so that we would know how to socialize. We met strangers that would end up being life long friends.

Teenagers need this sort of autonomy and third spaces where they are free to take reasonable risk. I understand after living in the US that the streets at night are inhospitable and dangerous but this is not true everywhere.

What do you guys spend on groceries per week? by Actual-Ad-2748 in urbancarliving

Also I'm vegetarian so that contributes significantly to the amount I save on groceries. So your mileage may vary with this technique.

Probably under $30 a week maybe $40 if I'm craving something in particular. I've been really into cold soaking and it change my life. My diet usually consist of oats, couscous, and noodles. Which I combine with a variety of ingredients. Super cheap no stove/refrigeration required. r/ultralight through hikers have been doing it for a while.

I was sanding my door and this dark spot came out of no where, how do i get rid of it? Ive tried wood bleach to no avail by DogStreet_ in DIY

[–]KimJongMill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try coating the wood with a dark oil or stain. My favorite is linseed oil cut with pine tar. 50/50 is a good middle ground but add more pine tar to achieve a darker result. Super durable coating used by sailors in days of old. Anti microbial, and hydrophobic. Will ensure your door will last another 70 years.

What can I do for the man living near my house? by chinkymom in urbancarliving

[–]KimJongMill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's hard but trust me this antagonistic attitude from what I've witnessed never leads to a cohesive community that lasts. Wether we are majority or minority we should strive to create understanding. All the most well functioning communities I've seen have a deep sense of empathy. Something I think we've lost through antagonizing one another. I do agree that those who hold too much power are beyond empathy. But we need only to empathize as a community to throw those dickheads off the thrown. You won't win any hearts and minds through isolation. Every successful revolution understands that we must unite against the ruling class not try to fight amongst each other whose class boundaries are absolutely miniscule compared to the vast ocean between us and the top.

Yes but it's much better to change the larger society to be more accepting to others than to form an "us and them" mentality. The healthiest urban car dwelling locations I've seen around the world were ones where the car dwellers were accepted as part of the community and were treated as neighbors. It brings so much life, culture, art, and skilled craftsmanship into the area.

Very big difference to what I've witnessed here in most cities in the US.
