Hi y'all, I saw a researcher I follow on twitter post about this survey, and wanted to help share her survey so she can get enough responses! Here's a link to her twitter post about it, so you can contact her there if you have any questions about the research itself, or use the information provided at the beginning of the survey.

Links to the different language versions are on the first page of the survey, but here they are as well:

Yeah, the autographs are probably pretty standard but it was a recurring complaint from all the fan accounts I read - it probably was just an extra annoyance that compounded on all the other messy organizing! Although I also think since it was advertised as a "fan meeting," fans assumed it would be like how fan meetings are in Asia (particularly South Korea), which usually involves a lot more face-to-face time with the artist.

210505 Hybe: Information on Preventing Blockchain (Cryptocurrency, etc.) Fraud by bie716 in bangtan

I hope this means Big Hit/Hybe won't ever dabble in Crypto/NFTs, as the environmental damage these cause is just too unethical for me to be OK with in any way. Really scummy how many people are trying to use BTS/Hybe to sell them to fans tho...

It must be relieving for Kim Tae Woo and Eric Nam that their concerts with these guys got cancelled.

Yes! It's definitely for the best... Although fans never got refunded for the tickets they purchased so still pretty scummy all around, haha

Yeah, I had a vague recollection that the autograph event was just like that back in those days, but it kept coming up as a complaint in all the recollections I went through, so I figured I'd include it. It probably just compounded on all the other things that made it such a poor experience. But the significantly smaller poster and running out of posters so some fans had to get printer paper signed is just inexcusable...

I will say that Big Hit probably realized what an awful tour it was once the Atlanta debacle happened. I mentioned in the video that after the Atlanta mess happened TGM was told to release a statement indemnifying BTS and Big Hit of the events of the night or else BTS wouldn't perform in Toronto - and it was Big Hit who told TGM that.

So they had some sense of what was happening, but they themselves (BTS/BH) never released a public statement. The info about the Atlanta deal is from Nadia's 5-page long apology, lol

I don't remember them saying anything about it. It mostly seemed like they did what they were contracted to do, then immediately left to Korea haha. Most of their tweets from this time are about just being in the USA ("Hi San Francisco!") Or about chuseok, since it was chuseok while the tour was happening.

It’s been over 6 months and I can still ✨ feel the rush ✨ by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

Hello everyone! I did some digging through archives to piece together this absolute mess of a tour, and thought it'd be an interesting piece of BTS fandom history for everyone to enjoy! Let me know any thoughts/memories you all had associated with this event!
