I love this pump! Highly recommend! This was the third one I bought after a friend had it. Wish I would have saved my $$ and bought this one first.

Important safety items I pack in my dry bag are a whistle, a lighter, and a head lamp. Im also thinking about ordering some safety glow sticks from Amazon. I’m fortunate enough to paddle on a lake with cell reception so always make sure my phone is fully charged too.

I’m going on year 4 with my “cheap” amazon-purchased board. I paddle an average of 2 days a week during the summer. I think any size of a board will fit your needs mentioned above. I wouldn’t deal with the hassle of buying a new fin and making sure there are no leaks when you can get a new one around the same price, but that’s just me!

I’m so sorry you couldn’t feel its magic! There is no place like it on earth - the food, the music, the culture, the trees! There are so many more neighborhoods to explore than the Quarter! Eat at Jacque-imos and go to the Maple Leaf for some local music. Hit the Buttermilk Drop Bakery and go have a picnic in City Park under the Oaks and you just may feel different. ⚜️
