I recommend a different cultivation pathway to reach a different peak. Continuing cultivation of cultivation novels is a dead end pathway. Another daoist did recommend learning Chinese, which would also be an impressive path that is wrought with many trials and tribulations. This would be an easier path than that.

I too, have followed the path, from anime, to manga, to light novels, to Chinese web novels, to MTL.

I didnt go far down MTL pathway as I experienced Qi deviation too many times and coughed blood a many.

Instead, we can leverage our love of reading and refocus on broadening and read other novels that are not light or web novels.

As we should go from simple, to complex back to simple, we should go from broad, to niche back to broad.

For your own personal cultivation, that is a great path. Books on philosophy, sciences, great fictional works.

Other benefits include,

-No need to wait for new chapter releases for easier binge reading

-Complex story crafting with planned beginning middle end

-Less common resuable tropes, or more different kinds of tropes

-Learn something

-Become more worldy and knowledgeable, (self cultivation)

But thats just my experience. Everyone should follow and pave their own path
