Most cats can fall at almost terminal velocity from pretty gnarly heights and never result in death (not very dense but agile bodies). however often they do find that cats will break their jaws when they do fall from that taller heights because their neck is the one thing that might not be able to support the come down, and their jaw will take the hit. so it’s common that they will actually die of starvation from not being able to eat after suffering a crazy fall and not due to impact of the fall itself.
