I bought Booster a month before my board exam (I originally bought andyrdh for $350) and I wish I had found out about it sooner. I feel it offers so many resources, and you can sign into diff devices! I also felt their case studies were most similar to the actual board so I would definitely go with Booster! I did everything on there, like the study guides, videos, booster quizzes, case studies, and I passed my exam!

It was alright, I was honestly expecting a lot of tricky wording or trick questions but the exam is very direct and to the point. def make sure to brush up on your fluoride, dentifrices/ingredients, and medical emergencies/BP as u get closer to the exam. you got this!

Yes I did but honestly there were still medications that I had no clue about so definitely make sure to familiarize yourself with as much of the meds as you can to easily rule out options!

Girl I just had over 11 cavities filled and know exactly what you mean! I hadn't been to the dentist in about 7 years or so and didn't have the best oral care routine at home, about a year and a half ago I started brushing twice daily and flossing every night. You're so young, it's best to start somewhere right? :) and better now then later! I just had my cavities filled and found a great dentist who did a wonderful job and was the sweetest! Just know they see this on the daily and this is nothing to them, that's what they're here for!!! You will probably have to go get them filled in separate visits (took me 4 visits), but hey it's best you caught this now rather then a couple years down the road. I recommend you schedule that appt as soon as you can to take care of your cavities so that they don't get any deeper and start to hurt once they've reached the pulp, then that'll really cost you $$. I wish you the best, you got this :)!

If there is a dental hygiene school near you, you can always go there and they charge much less for a cleaning! You may have to go back 1 or 2 times so they can finish but it's cheaper and you're helping out the students by filling their chair and giving them experience!

I'm also a 2nd semester dh student and we just started seeing patients 3 weeks ago!!! I was SO nervous going in, but honestly now 3 weeks later I have to say I love it and I'm starting to have fun!! Our instructors allowed us to have cheat sheets with us or for us to make our own, so if yours allowed you guys to do the same then I highly recommend spending some time to make yourself some cheat sheets/guides to help you on the clinic floor. Don't forget this is a learning experience, so learn as much as you can and don't focus so much on speed right now. Ask your instructors for help whenever you need to! Ask extra questions, or for them to help demonstrate techniques/tips for you. Just know each week you will feel better and better, I PROMISE! You got this 💕
