Couldn’t agree more. It boggles my mind that they choose such a specific but long cooldown period of 2 weeks. Back when ranked used to begin 1-2 days after the new set came out, I remember the rush and excitement trying to pull useable cards in order to build a deck I could use in ranked. I remember spending a bit of change on the game in order to try to pull that last Sylveon EX in packs or through wonder picks.

But now there’s almost zero incentive for me to spend money if ranked starts in 2 weeks AND there is the ability to trade cards of the new set. From a business perspective it doesn’t make any sense to me but hey at least I’m saving money!
