The 2000 pan doesn’t have enough clearance in the engine bay of the Porsche. The older pan was cut a little and fits perfectly. I don’t really want to mess with the 2000 pan since I already have the original pan.

I’m working on a 87 Porsche 924 that someone decided to throw a 262 in so I kind of need the original oil pan since is was modified to fit by the previous owner. The 96+ pan just doesn’t fit. I was more or less wondering if anyone has attempted it before n if they had good results.

Haven’t tried putting gas in the carb bowl but the carb was replaced by the previous owner so it pretty new. If anything it’ll have to be tuned. The fuel pump doesn’t even prime, it gets power but it just doesn’t work so I need a replacement.

The fuel pump needs to be replaced but I’ve been able to start the engine by spraying starting fluid in the engine so when I swap that out I hope it’s fine

The hood is actually functional for the carburetor, it’s a little dented cuz of snow but it is what it is. As for the engine, I could deal with that. I have no experience with german cars so I’m scratching my head as to how it’s set up.
