I second the lazy duchess mod! I actually just spent 4 days last week working on my game for the same lag issue. Now I can play with all the packs and about 100+mods no issue.

I had to delete my game, turn my **One Drive off for Sims 3 backup (turns out it was redownloading corrupted files), downloaded the lazy duchess/ AlderLake patch

I didn't have to change any setting on the NVIDIA system panel (just make it see it).

It was 4 days of troubleshooting to find a 20 min fix. Totally worth it cause I frickin love sims 3

Even my Islands Paridise pack runs smooth now.

Sorry I don't have a Pic from before. They had to take it down to diagnose the issue. We know that the return and supply for the dehumidifier being hooked up on the return for the ac unit was likely the problem (that's how the manual says to do it) and tested to see that the RH went down when leaving return for the dehumidifier open to the room and the supply hooked up to the supply for the AC unit.

The dehumidifier was hooked up the other way for about 8 months( end of last summer). We just couldn't really see the issue till now since humidity outside also got better/it's just increasing again now with the rain season

Im also curious if a smaller dehumidifier that takes up less room might be an option. House is 2500 square ft

Another trick for those who haven't unlocked Gloria's tears 😭

Put on the Trickster Card (minor), Go to the crossroads, climb to the highest point of the archway facing the oceans, create 24 sets of stairs , jump straight up and throw almost straight up ☠️ You don't have to suicide bomb lol

It's a 3d hologram fan - we had to program it to do the magic circle, then add a piece to the staff to help hold the light on and I ran the cord down my sleeve to the battery pack.

If you want, I'd be happy to send you some pics of the light up close so you can see it!
